I like the fact that she is a woman and she very knowledgeable. I feel very comfortable with her as well.

I don't feel that this doctor listens to my needs. She continues to place things I tell her in her frame of reference inferring her cultural and familial norms. I would like to see the therapist to address my food addiction. This has yet to happen after 10 mos & only 30lbs. Keeps asking about birth control. I'm a 50 year old lesbian. I also have difficulty every month refilling my meds. Initially, she failed to give me the correct number to call for refills. Even after following her instructions & changing to her preferred pharmacy, I continue to have issues. I will call days- up to a week in advance- & still run out of meds. She will turn it back on me each time, stating that I did something wrong. Even when the RN tells me she's waiting on the MD to send in the refill. I've seen the dietician once. No meal planning- just an outline and told that I know my restrictive diet for my GI issues better than she did and would need to learn to modify it for low carb and low fat on my own.

Dr. Abraham has been my PCP for about a year and a half and she still cannot manage to build a relationship with me. I am on disability and occasionally need her to write referrals so I can see specialists and she does not return calls nor does she ever complete any follow up. Her staff is rude and forgetful. She is usually 30-60 minutes late for appointments and then rushes through them without even understanding the problem. I have never had a PCP who I felt was less knowledgeable or willing to spend the proper amount of time with their patients. I am finally at a point where I am switching PCPs which might hurt my disability claim but I cannot continue having a PCP who has no compassion for what I am going through.

excellent. Was very helpful, and friendly. She was clear about the prognosis, and I would definitely recommend her to others.

I would not recommend going to this doctor unless you want to be treated poorly from the get-go. She has predetermined feelings about her patients and treats them based on that instead of how they should get treated. Also, she was supposed to order a test immediately to get results that night, I went to go get the test done, and it was never ordered. I had to go back to the office and speak to her supervising doctor to get it fixed which delayed the results by 2 days.
