I liked her upon the consolation and heard good things about her from people I knew that had seen her. Every time I set foot in the room, I informed everyone of my immense anxiety just over being there let alone anything else. During my extraction, I was woken early and they weren't finished. I became aware as soon as they pulled the mask off but they still had a tooth they were working on. I had a panic attack in the chair and they YELLED at me. I was absolutely hysterical, and they kept yelling at me and telling me to stop. Anyone who's ever had a panic attack knows that is not as easy done as it is said. 3 months later I had complications and had to go back and she was so short with me and had me out in 2 minutes.

Dr. Davies is an excellent oral surgeon--the best I have ever experienced. I can say this with authority as she has performed three surgeries on me-one was an implant that no other doctor thought was possible, Not only is she an oral surgeon, she is also an MD. As an attorney, I understand how important competence is and do not go to a professional to make friends, but rather to give me the best possible treatment. When I read a review about her bedside manner, or another about how long a patient had to wait, I was perplexed. When my health is at stake, my priority is getting the very best practitioner possible--no matter what field he or she is in. I would rather wait for an hour in someone's office who was at the top of his or her field than go to a second-rate doctor. I would recommend her to anyone and have recommended her to family members and friends with the confidence that they would be in capable hands.

My wisdom tooth surgery itself went well. I had to wait an hour, as did the person before me, and as have others here, but that was my least concern. I would caution anyone looking to visit her office. I have a terrible case of thrush from my antibiotic. It started on Saturday, I called but did not get to see her until Monday. At my appointment, I asked if it could be thrush and she said that would be very unlikely. She prescribed a steroid rinse for my ulcers, and sent me on my way. I had serious side effects from the rinse, and my pain is worsening, so today I visited an Urgicare for a second opinion. They confirmed that it is thrush (which is common after an antibiotic due to the good bacteria in your mouth being disrupted). Had I known this 5 days ago, I might not be in so much pain and it may not have spread as much. I usually do not leave a review, but I'm hoping others will avoid the treatment I had.

Dr Davies has done surgery w/my son twice. Once for cyst on his jaw. Next, for 4 wisdom teeth (some impacted) My son has a lot of severe allergies & timing wasn't great w/COVID. 1) I love that Dr Davies is an MD & an oral surgeon 2) She uses a nurse anesthetist. So, she focus on surgery, while an expert monitors anesthesia. 3) Dr Davies consulted w/us last summer (& before previous surgery), took my concerns seriously. 4) She didn't pressure us to remove the wisdom teeth then. Told us we could wait unless they started bothering my son. (They did.) 5) She talked w/me again by phone when we knew we needed to get it done this year. She readily agreed to avoid drugs (that they typically use) per my son's other doctor's recommendation. 6) The sedation and wisdom teeth removal was done in about 30 minutes. 7) Dr Davies came by the recovery. Said everything went great. The nurse anesthetist came by & it was it clear she bonded with my son. Highly recommend these competent experts!

Every single appointment I wait, they have never taken me on time, or like today, couldn't take me at all. No phone call before the visits to let me know they are running behind - bc they must think people like to sit in their waiting area for over an hour, every.single.time.

Waited an hour for appointment to discuss my son's tooth extraction, another hour a week later for the actual procedure. I told the anesthesiologist that my son wanted to give the OK to start anesthesia. They immediately started trying to trick him, and put the mask on "to see each if it fit" and turned the gas on behind his back. I asked them to stop and asked what they were doing. The anesthesiologist raised his voice "I'm not trying to hurt your son." The whole feel of the place was wrong.
