Had a D & C done after menopause. (In office) I was given no pain killer or sedation and it was the most BARBARIC pain i have ever experiences in my life. Is this normal to have this done without any sort of pain management? I feel like I should’ve had some thing or I should’ve been put out. After speaking with a friend she said the doctor she worked for always gave women pain through an IV or other methods. Three long Metal dilators going through my closed cervix to do a DNC and I am just saying it was awful!!! Worse than childbirth

Dr. Dutta has been my OB/GYN through two children, Bartholian cyst issues and now menopause. She listens and offers advice and options with a warm and sincere manor. I highly recommend her and her staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Dutta. I have been going to her since she was with OSF, and moved with her when she left. I had concerns about my ability to become pregnant, and she met with me and my husband, answered all our questions, and provided a lot of info. After we became pregnant (at high risk due to my age), she was similarly helpful at giving us the facts and answering questions. I only stopped going to her because I moved out of state.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Dutta. She is kind gentle and caring. I feel safe and listened to. She is overly cautious and I couldn’t ask for more then that in Regards to bringing my baby into the world happy and healthy.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Dutta?
Dr. Dutta has been my OB/GNY for years. She's smart, caring, capable, empathetic, good at explaining things, willing to spend as much time with a patient as the patient requires. My only complaint is since she left Carle/OSF, she's in a dated building and the "ponchos" and "sheets" worn during exams are cheap, paper, and small.
