Sarah Gallager is very judgmental and condescending when she speaks to patients. She does not have a supportive and communicative relationship with her patients at all. Glad to have switched doctors, just wish i did sooner.

Avoid this physician like the plague!
Not so sure why she hasn’t been fired She’s rude & disrespectful. One appointment that took 3 months to actually be seen because of all the cancellations she didI. And what a disappointment, will not have anything to do with her. Rude, unprofessional, and condescending Any Dr. would be better then then quality of care she provides! Kaiser are you desperate for Dr.s.? You have a responsibility to have good health care! Why are you not firing such an appalling Dr.

Negligent
I asked for a skin check two years ago and Dr Gallager would not refer me to a dermatologist even though I disclosed that I have family history of melanoma. The solution to my concerns was taking pictures of any moles that looks troublesome. I finally changed my insurance so I could go to a derm and they immediately found melanoma. If I had stayed with Dr Gallager and Kaiser the melanoma would have grown deep enough to spread to my lymph nodes.

Dr. Gallagher has zero Doctor/Patient communication skills. Seems bored and doesn’t want to be in this job. Does not seem to be able diagnose basic illnesses.

She didn't take my knee injury seriously and didn't give me guidance to the proper specialist within kaiser. Due to this, it took almost 6 extra months for my correct diagnosis to take place (meniscus tear). She is my primary care at KP but my least favorite, I prefer my specialists who are more qualified to handle my specific issues. Dr. Gallagher is mostly there for me to get referrals from and order bloodwork when needed. I don't feel comfortable going to her with a real problem.

She was my primary care Dr and I found that half the time when I would email she was out of office and I would get better attention and care from her backups. I am not someone that goes to the doctor for much and only emails when I have need for attention. During my only real two interactions where I was able to meet her in person/virtually, one issue it made me feel like she was frustrated I wanted to see her, then the second was due to an issue I'd been battling off and on for 2 months. We met, she said she would follow up and never did (it's now been over 2 weeks since that interaction). Her Backups did more for me than she ever did. I am changing doctors.

Impatient and isn't capable of dealing with complex health issues. Doesn't like it when patients bring up their own research on topics. Wouldn't recommend her (or any primary care doctor at Kaiser).

It is my privilege to acknowledge the work Dr. Gallagher performs on a daily basis. Her diligent and courageous efforts to bring about better health conditions through the Weigh Management Program are to be recognized. At our first meeting I recognized and respected her courage and vision in providing a plan for me to lose the weight needed to enhance my health for additional years of life. Dr. Gallagher is blessed with an irrepressible spirit and dynamic energy, transmitting powers to other.
