Stay away from her. She is incompetent. Misdiagnosed my healthy child with hydrocephaly and got Child Protective Services involved to force us to let her place a shunt in our son's head. She was condescending and rude to my husband and me. We fought her diagnosis, found two respectable Neurosurgeons to back us up and got off the hook with the state. Our son was and is healthy. He is part of the Gifted and Talented program at his highschool and practices crossfit.

I trusted her and she couldn't even take 5minutes to explain to me why she dismissed my son passed repeating he didn't need surgery. Well he has gotten worse, issues I TRIED to explain to her that she brushed off are still happening. Going to a much better educated and more caring surgeon now. Who will be doing surgery on my son since it was recommended due to his symptoms Gaskill chose to ignore when they first started to worry me and my son's therapists.

Dr. Gaskill's idea of bedside manner is to discount everything you say as a parent. Although you spend every minute of your time with your child she believes that she knows better. I would NEVER recommend this person to provide neurological care for any child.
