I was referred to Dr. Kranick by my PCP for a serious health issue. She did not seem to have even reviewed my chart before seeing me, acted like she wasn’t sure why I was even there, told me I wasn’t the typical candidate for my condition (I check every box) so she didn’t believe I had anything wrong, but then when I brought up my symptoms, immediately said the exact opposite and decided right away to get me on some really strong meds that she did not go over side effects for with me at all. She insinuated that my condition would be 100% solved by weight loss, which sometimes helps but is NOT a cure-all. She also wrote in the after-visit notes that she discussed things with me that were not even briefly mentioned. Left the appointment feeling unheard and just really confused by her attitude and demeanor…I would not recommend her especially as a neurosurgeon or neurologist.

Makes rush judgement s without looking at all the possibilities. If the answer is not readily available, and fit into a quickly identifiable problem, her answer is it must be psychological. does not consider other possibilities or ask other experts if the patient has known issues that she does not have expertise in. If your only problem is a neurological problem that a first year resident could identify, she will do. If you have multiple health issues RUN
