Dr. Poyen is a brilliant doctor and wonderful human being. When my 4-yr old son expressed concern at having to hear his baby sister cry through her shots, Dr. Poyen took the time to stand with him in the hallway during that time. There are many things I'm grateful to Dr. Poyen for but that memory stands out to me over all else.

Dr. Poyen has been my children's doctor for 5 years. In such an impacted field, it is amazing how much attention she gives your child. She noticed something with my newborn that other doctors had waved away. (A friend's newborn had the same condition which went unnoticed by their doctor and they ended up needing major surgery!) We trust Dr. Poyen with our precious children and you can too!

Dr. Poyen has been absolutely wonderful to deal with. My son saw her recently for his sports physical, and I was so pleased when she asked about a tick bite he had previously (which had been removed by a different doctor). Her attention to detail and bedside manner are amazing! With our daughter, Dr. Poyen truly listened to our concerns and caught a hard to spot cholesteatoma in her ear (after our local ENT misdiagnosed it!). She saved our daughter’s hearing and potentially her life!

I have three children and Dr. Poyen has been our pediatrician for nine years. My eldest was a premie and we were referred to Dr. Poyen by UCSF. Every single visit with her was wonderful. She takes her time and really listens. I feel that our relationship is built on trust and that we are partners in making the best decisions for my children. My youngest child has a chromosomal disorder and Dr. Poyen wonderfully navigates all of his special needs. She is very competent and joyful.

I recommend Dr. poyen to anyone and everyone who has children. She’s been my daughters doctor since she was born! My daughter loves her and so do I. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Dr. Poyen has been my daughter's pediatrician for years. My daughter really likes Dr. Poyen and feels comfortable with her. I can easily communicate with Dr. Poyen and I trust her.
