I highly recommend Dr. Stombaugh. My two daughters and I felt seen, heard and deeply cared for in her presence. She is an extremely thorough physician. Her calm demeanor is a wonderful trait to have in a doctor.

Dr. Stombaugh is amazing! Between my own care and having been the care taker for several family members, I have visited many physicians and, by far, Dr Stombaugh is the best. Not only is she knowledgeable and thorough, she listens intently and is respectful. I don't know how she does it, because I never feel rushed. The feeling is that she has all the time in the world to listen to my concerns and she takes my concerns seriously. I often do my own research about my health and look for alternatives to medications. When I share this with her, she is genuinely interested and open to my ideas. I feel she is a true partner in my healthcare.

Dr. Stombaugh is an extremely talented and exceptional Primary Care/Family Practice physician who has treated me for several years and sadly, will be moving to a new practice away from Chicago. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great PCP/FP. - Clinically strong/talented - She has deep knowledge across the clinical/medical issues that I have faced. - Effective communicator - Dr. Stombaugh is very effective at communicating the issues/explaining the challenges and the options. - Highly collaborative with you as a patient - Dr. Stombaugh works with you in a very collaborative way to ensure that the treatment works for you - Great listener - listens without judgement or interruption. Asks questions to clarify. - Treats you holistically - she looks at you as a whole person, and isn't just treating a complaint or issue and ignoring the rest of you. In summary - a clinically effective Doctor who listens well and works with you. HIGHLY recommended!

My husband and I, along with my niece, have been in Dr. Stombaugh's care for over two years. We first sought her out because of her focus on Family Medicine. She has seen us through general health issues, as well as the more unusual ones...multiple kidney stones, a blood clotting disorder, and a neurological disorder called Spasmodic Dysphonia. Through it all she has been an active listener and worked with us to support our journey to better health with professional support and great care. She has offered us resources, listened to our concerns with respect, and her suggestions have come with support, never criticism or doubt. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Sarah Stombaugh.

She is such a genuine and caring provider. After some abnormal blood work, she ordered the exact follow up labs that my hemotologist later said was the exact labs he would. I could tell she genuinely cared for me because she followed up with testing and my referral for weeks. All after just meeting her once!

Dr. Stombaugh is incredible. She’s been my primary care doctor since she started at Northshore a few years ago. She is empathetic, attentive, and very knowledgeable. I had some physical and psychological problems, and Dr. Stombaugh worked closely with me to figure out suitable interventions as well checked in to ensure said interventions were working. She is very responsive to messages and questions, never making a concern seem insignificant. I am so sad she is leaving Northshore. If you are looking for an excellent primary care doctor, Dr. Stombaugh is the one!!

I have seen doctors for 25 years in the U.S, since I moved here. Dr. Stombaugh is the most thorough, compassionate, and excellent doctor all around. I just learnt that she will be moving and I sure will miss her and her care. I wish I met her 25 years ago. She has been always accurate in diagnosis, very open-minded, and she does not just prescribe any medication without testing (I have seen renowned specialist would just prescribe without proper testing). She is very pleasant to talk to, I often think if we had more doctor like her we would have a much better health system in the U.S.

She was exactly what I want from my primary care doctor which is a great listener and very thorough. We just moved from out of state and I feel very fortunate to have found my forever doctor so quickly.

I went to Dr. Stombaugh for my annual physical and she was an exceptional doctor. Compared to other Doctors that I had gone to in the past (and liked) she stood out as the best. She addressed/tested several things that I thought were important (Vitamin D levels, skin exam) but hadn't always been checked at my past physicals with other doctors. She made me feel comfortable. She was also very knowledgable and explained things well when I asked her about a few issues I was having. We chatted about our families a bit and I felt she was very caring. She also comes from a top notch program for Internal Medicine (University of Chicago). I'm very glad and feel lucky to have her as my Primary Care Doctor.

This is the first doctor I've been to in a really long so who actually made me feel heard. I have been written off by other doctors, but she listened attentively to everything I had to say and is committed to providing effective and empathic care. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone. I trust her ability as a doctor, and I appreciate how thorough and kind she is - two qualities that are seemingly hard to come by when being seen by doctors.

Dr. Stombaugh has been taking care of my son since he was born. We saw her in Glenview when she was a resident, and now we see her in Evanston. She has been such a helpful resource for me and our family. She is patient, caring, kind. I can't say enough good things about her.

I don't know what that one star reviewer is talking about, but Dr. Stombaugh was extremely knowledgeable and comforting during my visit. She treated me with great respect during my visit and provided me with excellent treatment. I would recommend Dr. Stombaugh to anyone in the Glenview, IL area.

I had my first appointment with her and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel at ease from the moment she walked in. She explained everything to me in detail and made recommendations. I would recommend her to anyone including my own kids.

Love seeing her. She helped me with my virtigo and many other things. Always quick to reply on NorthShore connect and makes you feel like family.

She is so bad I swear to god. Don't waste your time, she doesn't know anything. In addition to that my appointment was 4:30 and they let me enter at 6:15
