Kind, caring and professional
Dr. Wheat has been my GYN for several years. She is conscientious and caring and has a gentle way of dealing with the whole person. I highly recommend her. The only drawback is I forget my next appointment (made a year later) and usually have to reschedule. I wish they could send an email notification beforehand.

Called on call as I was having excruciating pain in my arm and I am also 28 weeks pregnant. Prior to my call I had already iced, been taking NSAIDs every two hours, and worn a brace for several days. When Dr Wheat called me all she said was to try wearing a brace. I let her know I was already doing that and she said “well just call back on Monday and they’ll make you a referral.” If you don’t want to be a doctor then please don’t be. You’re dealing with peoples livelihood and wellbeing. Apparently bedside manner has gone out the window.

Having Dr. Wheat as my Gynecologist has been wonderful! She is such a wonderful lady and is very personable. I love how open and honest she is about certain things. She is always available when I have needed to speak with her. The staff at Carolina OBGYN are amazing too. They always put me through to her, and scheduling an appointment is a dream and never a hassle nor stressful. I feel very comfortable being under her care.
