Very Bad Experience
I went to Dr Tjandra for the first time yesterday for a new patient appointment because my primary care doctor retired. I am a 65 yr. old male and he rambled about women's hormone replacement therapy for most of my appointment and showed very little interest in me or my health issues. Worst doctor that I have ever been to. This is a warning to others to see him at your own risk. A nurse did give me a flu shot after he left the room and that went very well. She was respectful, kind, and efficient.

Excellent doctor
Dr Tjandra has been treating me for several months for several issues and is my primary care doctor. He has been very helpful and I recommend him. The only issue I have with him is my inability to understand what he says sometimes due to his accent and my poor hearing. Otherwise he has provided excelent proactive care.

Dr. Tjandra prescribed me a medication that was contraindicated for patients with atrial fibrillation... I have atrial fibrillation. He also prescribed me a medication contraindicated for asthma... I have asthma. I'm getting a new pulmomologist.

Dr. Tjandra is a great doctor, but has some reserve with patients. He uses few words, speaks plainly, then moves on. However, his diagnoses and treatments were right on. I have a lot of respect for him. He's like a horse whisperer of pulmonology.
