Faulty Surgery - Hero to Zero
Dr. Sarmad Said put in a pacemaker with one of theleads unattached. I was in a tremendous amount ofpain, it hurt to breath. During my follow-upappointment with Dr. Said he did not take the timeto check the pacemaker at all. He got very defensiveand told me my pain could be from any number ofthings, kidneys, gall bladder etc. When I reiteratedthat the pain began after the pacemaker was put inhe just dismissed me and said it wasn’t thepacemaker and to get a second opinion. Upongetting a second opinion, I found out that thepacemaker wasn’t put in properly.I then had surgery to remove the pacemaker whichresolved the pain. I learned that I did not need thepacemaker in the first place and that the doctor thatremoved it has been cleaning up Dr. Said’s mistakesfor years. What I did need was an ablation, whichsolved my problem. Dr. Said went from being nicebefore surgery, to hostile and arrogant afterwards.Worst experience ever.

Dr Said is amazing. I was scared to death when I was diagnosed with my heart issue. He is very confident and tells you straight forward. I came in with a paper full of questions. He was hilarious, he said, “ok! Let’s do this!” One by one we went through my concerns and misinformation I had picked up along the way on my heart journey. Listen to what he says! He really cares about getting you back on your feet and feeling better. I am so blessed that my GP picked Dr. Said for me. His upbeat healthy personality is contagious. I felt so safe and I knew I was in good hands from the minute I met him in the Hospital. ??????
