she is nice but the visit was awful
Seeing her but it is hit and miss...more miss. She repeatedly canceled appointments right before and rescheduled months out. I have been having an issue that is a problem due to endocrine issues. A nurse called - nothing. My most recent appointment was horrible because her trainee decided that I over eat at night and I need a PPI. He asked to make sure that I wasn't going to 'change my story' because he was telling her. I was following what my previous specialist told me. This was my 3rd appointment with Dr. Mangray. If I was wrong, she should have said something. Anyway, they decided that I am not following a gluten free diet and I was treated poorly from multiple people. I still have issues with vomiting and diarrhea which are dangerous with adrenal insufficiency. A nurse shoved a report at me after the EGD saying there was visible damage. I am the one who wanted a biopsy for dx and to go to a GI. I take my health seriously. It would be nice to be believed and treated appropriately.
What went well
  • Appointment wasn't rushed
  • Wait times
What could be improved
  • I didn't feel respected
  • Difficult to schedule appointment
  • Staff wasn't friendly
  • Didn't trust the provider's decisions

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Mangray?
Dr. Mangray is very personable and comfortable in answering questions and addressing issues in her expertise of internal medicine and gastroenterology. She is quick to catch on in conversations and has suggestions of therapies to treatments and procedures. I am very happy to have found her after many years of stumbling around for a professional who is knowledgable and competent and easy to be with from a patients perspective. I appreciated her right away as I left her office with a plan and look forward to seeing her regularly.
