Dr. Sasha Melendy, MD

It was my first time seeing her for my prenatal visit, and I was her first patient of the day. However, she walked in rushing, as if she was eager to finish and move on. I was so taken aback by how hurried she was that I had to say, ‘First of all, nice to meet you,’ just to slow things down. I even forgot the list of questions I had prepared.I’m not going back to her, and I hope she’s not on call the day I give birth. It’s so disappointing that some clinicians now seem to prioritize the number of patients over the quality of care. Healthcare has become so commercialized that patient satisfaction often feels like an afterthought.

First time seeing her and last one too. She was very nice however very impersonal, the visit felt so rushed. I've never had a visit so fast; I didn't feel comfortable to even ask questions. I usually look at reviews before seeing providers but didn't get a chance to this time. I prob should have... felt like I wasted my time.

I used to really like seeing Dr. Melendy but lately the appointments have become so rushed and impersonal. After my most recent visit - I was told that my lab results were all within normal limits, but when I read the results myself there was something abnormal noted by the lab. I sent a message to Dr. Melendy on my patient portal asking if I needed treatment, and my message was ignored. After a week of not getting a message back I sent a second message. The second message was answered by another provider who I had never even seen. She took the initiative to look over my lab results and send over a prescription to treat my condition. I was happy that someone helped me but very disappointed that the doctor I have been seeing for years could not be bothered to read my results correctly or get back to me. I will absolutely be transferring to another practice for future care.

I was a happy, satisfied and appreciative patient of Dr. Melandy. I was traveling out of town over the summer and had a medical problem. I contacted Dr. Melandy’s office for assistance and left a message, I never heard back. I called a second time and never heard back. I called a third time and was told Dr. Melandy is not doing any telehealth. I was simply trying to speak with my doctor while I was out of town around a serious medical concern. Further, I found the nurse to be uncaring, abrupt and unfriendly. Very disappointed. I would only go if you’re never planning to go on vacation or leave town.

In my personal experience she is an excellent professional, highly skilled and trained. I wouldn't want a better doctor than her to take care of me as a patient during my both pregnancies and labors.

While I was in labor delivering my first child, Dr melendy was texting the entire time I was pushing out my baby.The staff at Jupiter medical center did nothing about it. She then ran out of the room and said she had to leave for a dinner party and another doctor was on the way.I would never recommend her or Jupiter medical center to deliver your baby. She also talked about her social life the whole time to all the nurses, Dr melendy was the most unprofessional doctors I have experienced.

Outstanding doctor!! Very outgoing and full of energy. Super knowledgeable and smart. Her staff and nurses are also very caring. Cannot say enough nice things about her and staff.

Horrible doctor. Arrogant and negligent. Will not be concerned with your health. Patients are just a number to her. Should be avoided!!

Dr Melendy is caring and knowledgeable. Fits me in when I need, orders only appropriate tests (I know, I'm a nurse), fixes any problems promptly. Office staff pleasant and professional. So happy I found her.

EVERYONE in your office is a pleasure to deal with and Dr. Melendy has wonderful diagnostic skills and is excellent at getting to the bottom of a problem and fixing it.

She was very informative and great communicator. I felt confident that I was in good care.
