I've been receiving care from Dr. Angra for over 20 years before I was in the medical field and now, I appreciate him even more. Many of my co-workers are currently his patients. Dr. Angra is very considerate, a great listener, demonstrates Patience, and very knowledgeable. He makes you feel like family.

When you call to make an appointment with the doctor, I believe you should get an appointment with the doctor - and if he's unavailable, the receptionist should let you know instead of randomly assigning your visit to a nurse without telling you. Also, the nurse came in with her mask below her nose. The whole experience was incredibly unprofessional - and frankly, a little concerning on the competence front.

After multiple bad experiences with his office, I have decided to find a new doctor that actually listens to me, and seems to care about my needs. Initial experience seemed fine - doctor seemed attentive and caring. 2nd experience: staff talked down to me over the phone for not making my regular annual checkups, and because of that not eligible for a virtual appointment just to renew some asthma medication IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC!  So I went in person and waiting room was crowded.  Nurse saw me and seemed nice but asked practically zero questions.  Never saw the doctor until I was about to leave, was trying to use the clogged hand sanitizer bottle at the front desk which squirted me in the eye.  At that point, they sent me back into the office to have my eye looked at. 3rd experience.  Was seen by same nurse for lump in throat.  She examined the wrong part of my neck, had very little to say, no questions, and said I should go have a CT scan.  Then she (or the doctor - I'm not sure

On my first visit the doctor seemed very thorough, and he seemed like a good doctor. However, I never saw him on the two consecutive visits after that. His staff was rude to me over the phone, and talked down to me for missing routine visits DURING A PANDEMIC. Also, the waiting room was tiny. Back before everyone was vaccinated, they had a full waiting room (every other seat had a "do not sit" sign), but every other seat is only a 3 feet distance apart. I know because my line of work requires tape measures. On a visit after that for a health concern, he had me see the same nurse practitioner - she's very nice, but very uninformative. She didn't give me any information about the exam or any thoughts on anything really. It would have been nice to see an actual doctor for the issue I was having.

He is knowledgeable, does well diagnosing one’s illness and determining treatment modality. He explains and tells you your options if there are more than one. He will order tests that are needed to confirm his diagnosis and have follow-up appts to work with you until you are recovered.

Dr. Angra has been my doctor for 27 years and he head been treating my children (8 and 5) since birth. He is truly extraordinary. Caring, knowledgeable, thorough... he is truly an old school family doctor who can care for your whole family.

Makes you feel important & comfortable

Dr Angra is very nice and takes time to speak with you. Unfortunately he is never on time and you will waste hours waiting for him when he hasn't shown up for your appointments. He will also require you to come in for follow visits that would be better resolved over the phone, all exacerbated by his constant tardiness.
