Dr. Satish Modi, MD

Dr Modi is professional and extremely knowledgeable. He did my husband's lasik surgery and is doing cataracts for both of us. We have the utmost trust in him. The office staff is friendly and kind. Have been a patient for over 15 years.

My office visit was on 10/28/2020. He spent only a few minutes with me, checking my eyes with his instruments. Only thing he said -"you need cataract surgery" He didn't care regarding any discussion about my eyes, my prescription glasses, and that I have had no daily problem with my vision using my prescription glasses. When I wanted to discuss a few questions, he told his assistant to give me pages of reading materials on cataract surgery. It appeared to me that all he was interested in was doing cataract surgery. Since then I have had two checkups with another local opthalmologist in last two years - being told "no cataract surgery required now". And I received a new prescription for my progressive lense glasses. This is April, 2023. I am still doing fine with my eyes and glasses. So, don't waste your time and $ visiting this doctor. Find someone else who will serve your needs better.

Dr. Modi's confidence is mind blowing and he follows through 100%- I was in my 30s and almost blind with -23 diopter in both eyes. He assessed my condition and presented a plan and detailed the risks involved, and in less than 6 minutes of surgery I can see 20/20 for the first time in my life- and I even had eyeglasses and contacts in the past! I highly recommend him for all eye diseases and issues.

I went to Dr Modi after I was told I have a cataract in my left eye. I had already had surgery in my right eye by Dr Steinberg but that didn't go well at all. I was over corrected and can no longer see near or far! So I was very apprehensive. Dr Modi was professional, kind and reassuring. Excellent bed side manners I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Excellent results!! I also will be trusting Dr Modi to correct the over correction in my right eye!
