Dr. Rathour has been my psych md for years. I’ve been to other psychiatrists & was glad to finally find Dr Rathour. I find him to be an excellent psychiatrist.

I’m not one to write reviews unless it’s to compliment a business however I thought this review was necessary. After explaining to the young man on the phone how the office was unprofessional for not returning calls, calling to do an intake that had already been done, calling for my insurance information that I had given verbally as well as through text of a number that was provided, and a process that took over a month and still no appointment had been set his response was he suggests I find a different doctor and when asked to speak to a supervisor he said he was the supervisor and hung up. I then called back to speak to the actual supervisor, Jeets, and her response was I was rude for calling the practice unprofessional. If the office staff is any indication as to what type of doctor Dr. Rathour is one word, run.

Dr. Rathour is a wonderful physician who I've been seeing for almost 8 years. He genuinely cares about your medical issues and wants to help keep you on your path to happiness. We meet every 2 weeks and I look forward to our conversations. He has helped me through troubled waters and now for almost 5 years, I've been able to live my life with confidence in myself because of his consistent care. He pays attention to detail, which includes my behavior and verbal expression- this helps with being treated on medication. He is intuitive- he can see when I'm well and when I'm a little down. He has helped me grow to love myself and continue on my journey with determination and grace. It's like talking to a very knowledgeable friend and thankful to have been in his care!

He was ok. Not really a good fit for me. He was a little pushy with medications and kept reminding me how much weight i was losing on a medication i didnt like even though that was never a concern for me (i am 5'4 and 125lbs).

I WILL NEVER step foot in his office AGAIN! So to sum it up, after a hospitalation 6 months prior for depression/PTSD issue etc, he said I was bipolor, told me I cant take CS for anxiety because I "cant follow directions" when I told him I was taking xanax at a low dose to try to control my panic attacks (basically calling me a drug addict). On my second visit after an hour of badgering me to tears he told me my only problem was money and I need to get a job. Im a retired FDNY Paramedic on LODI
