Dismissed & Misdiagnosed
My experience with Dr. Konadu was extremely disappointing. My initial appointment was mishandled, and after rescheduling, I was left waiting 45 minutes with no update. When she finally saw me, she diagnosed me with IBS-D and a hiatal hernia, focusing heavily on the hernia—which wasn’t even causing symptoms—while dismissing my severe stomach pain.Later, my surgeon, Dr. Bloemendal, told me my hiatal hernia wasn’t even a candidate for repair and that my real issue—a severely infected gallbladder—could have cost me my life. Had Dr. Konadu listened and investigated further, I could have avoided years of suffering.Patients deserve doctors who listen, investigate thoroughly, and show empathy—sadly, that was not my experience.

She Listens!
This picture doesn't do her justice since she is smiling most of the time and it is a beautiful smile! My absolutely favorite thing is that she LISTENS. And, she keeps listening until you are finished talking.

Very happy with entire office
My first visit and not only was the check in easy and the wait time short, but every person from the front desk, the PA, and the doctor were all very pleasant and helpful. My questions were answered and when I left I felt completely confident in my choice of doctor. Definitely recommend.

First Time and Great Experience
This was my first time with Dr. Konadu and the staff at the outpatient center. Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to calm any nervousness I may have had.

Wonderful Dr
I’ve had UC for about 23 years now so I’ve been to my fair share of GI Drs. Dr Konadu is wonderful. She is kind, she explains everything very well, and she doesn’t rush you she answers all of your questions no matter how many. She explained things to me that I didn’t know and I have had the disease for over 20 years. She is great would definitely recommend.
