Dr. Scott Ballmann, MD

I was referred to Dr. Ballmann when I developed a large fibroid. I was having a lot of complications due to a fibroid that made me look 6 months pregnant. He was very reassuring and listened to all of my concerns. We agreed that a hysterectomy was the right course of action but I was very nervous due to never having surgery before. Dr. Ballmann did an excellent job and I had no complications. Recovery went well and I got my health and life back.

From my first appointment he made me uncomfortable with his awkwardness. Beyond that, I had a fairly easy pregnancy, until I had reduced movement. I called and asked to be seen only to be told that I was a first time mom and didn’t know my baby’s movements yet and they will see me at my scheduled appointment. I went to a private ultrasound and learned my baby had passed. His first words were ‘I did not see this coming’, not ‘I’m so sorry for your loss.’ It was followed only by ‘but yeah, you lost the baby, that’s sad.’ His words have haunted me. He never once said he was sorry for my loss. He had very little empathy and very poor bedside manner. He treated me and my baby like a medical case, not like humans. Thank the Heavens he’s not the doctor who delivered my stillborn baby as I would have requested one with much more empathy and care. I refused to go back to him or his office for my 6 week PP. He has a lot to learn, especially about empathy and kindness. I’ve since moved OB’s.

Dr. Ballmann is amazing he just recently delivered my baby on January 26th 2021. He explains everything so well and listens to everything and made me feel reassured my whole pregnancy. Definitely will keep him as my dr and want him delivering my next one! His staff is also amazing in the clinic and L&D. I went in nervous and scared of delivery and his staff made me feel comfortable and that everything was going to be okay. I will be recommending Dr. Ballmann to everyone!

Dr. Baldwin has never rushed me or made me feel as if my feelings were not valid. I expressed my journey so far not being able to conceive. After four months I can now say I’m pregnant and I so happy he’s apart of my team.

Very helpful, always listens and answers my questions in a way I understand. I never feel rushed. Great MD.

I have some serious medical problems & having a baby was traumatic & risky for both of us. My pregnancy was rough but my experience with Dr Ballman was amazing & I've had 3 kids & in my experience you can have a doctor that seems great but then awful in the delivery room & Dr Ballman did FANTASTIC during my complicated delivery AND pregnancy. He got my very stuck face up baby out safely but what made him exceptional is he was kind & treated me with respect & listened the whole time!

I've only seen Dr Ballmann once since I began seeing him 5 months ago, but have been there a minimum of 6 times dealing with the staff. His nurse Lisa and the front desk staff are the least helpful group on the planet. I've beem made to leave to print outside orders and on my way back was canned and took I needed to reschedule my time sensitive appointment. I refused and when I was brought back avs attempted to jabs the nurse my orders she says she already had them. Today they can't find my appt

He is amazing! He heard everything I had to say and complimented me on the knowledge of my condition instead of trying to make me feel like I didn’t know what was going on. He and his nurse were so great!

Dr. Ballman is very sincere. He is a great listener. He knows what he is doing. He has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable. I wouldn’t want a different obgyn. I would definitely consider recommending him to friends and family because he is and over all GREAT Dr. with my recent miscarriage he has been nothing but supportive and his nurse Lisa is wonderful as well

Very kind and compassionate. Dr. Ballmann was very attentive and validated all of my concerns which is something I have never experienced before. He stayed on top of my pregnancy complications with thorough testing and treatment. And thanks to his birth plan, he saved my baby's life and mine from unpredictable complications that arose during delivery. I will be forever grateful to him for that!!

Took great care of me and my baby. Made sure I understood everything and was always pleasant and happy to see us. His nurse is also great and about as sweet as they come. He really calmed all my fears and after having two other children at other hospitals with other doctors, this was the best experience even though this pregnancy had more complications. I would highly recommend him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Ballmann. First time I met him was 16 hours into labor, at 1am, 5 hours before my son was born. He is a great doctor and because of him, the birth of my son was an amazing experience. He was kind, understanding, and listened to me. If my current OB/GYN wasn't as amazing as she is, I would be switching to Dr. Ballmann. Highly recommend!

Dr Ballmann is very easy to talk to and listens to your concerns. He calls you personally himself about lab results. I felt very comfortable with him
