Had pressure sores on my heels after surgery. These sores refused to heal for several month. When I saw Dr. Basinger I was so pleased at his concern, knowledge and how he helped me to get rid of the large sores. He suggested I buy a soft boot to sleep in. The boot takes pressure off the heels. I am now pressure sore free. I highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr. Basinger and his team. They are professional, knowledgeable and kind! Dr. Basinger always answered all my questions and spent as much as I needed talking ove the issues with the morton’s neuroma I have been dealing with. After several steps taken I ended up getting surgery and he did a great job! I would absolutely recommend him and so glad I made the right choice to go to Ankle and Foot of Charlotte!

Doctor Basinger operated on my right foot on June 18th. I am extremely happy with the results. After his diagnosis, I got a second opinion from Ortho Carolina. Both came up with the exact same diagnosis. Doctor Basinger recommended the less evasive surgery and was very detailed in his explanation. Ortho Carolina recommended the extreme surgery without discussing the rationale. I felt very confident with Doctor Basinger’s recommendation after researching the procedures. Glad I chose Dr. Basinger

I would not recommend Dr. Basinger to family or friends. While in his office, he assured me that my insurance would cover custom orthotics. While I acknowledge that doctors do not normally know everything about insurance, he insisted and I trusted him. $700 later, I owe himmoney (it was not covered) and I went to another podiatrist and that doctor told me I didn't even need the orthotics. I called to talk to his office, and they said they would reduce the bill. They reduced by bill by $9.

While I didn't have surgery by Dr. Basinger he did leave me feeling discriminated. In addition, his staff did not properly assure my post-op care that would have been covered by my insurance, as directed to me by my insurance company and clearly explained to staff. This lead to my continued pain and am seeking alternative care. This review is about how I was treated.

The wait time is very short and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Basinger is always very kind and professional and takes time to answer questions. I would highly recommend this doctor!

I am not at all happy with the results of my bunion surgery. I had a bunion removed in Nov. 2014, by Dr. Basinger , he broke my big toe and removed the bunion. The bunion is gone but my big toe is riding my index toe and my index toe got longer. When I mention this to the Doctor, he said I could have more surgery to correct it? I don't think so... Not happy and I should have done more research on this Doctor!!! I would not recommend him to anyone!!!
