Dr prescribed POPRANOLOL 60mg. Tremors have decreased some, but dizziness and very vivid night mares have occurred. Wake feeling very drugged. Can we try something else?

My visit was several yrs ago around 2018. He diagnosed me with conversion disorder bc of strange symptoms that would occur about 1x a month, like numbness down one leg and gait issues. In 2019, I attended pelvic floor pt and learned there was a pattern to these issues. In 2020, I had surgery for Endometriosis and found that my uterous was covered with Endo and being pulled over right hip causing the gait issues and leg numbing. Dr B was insistent all of the pain was bc I needed antidepressants. He offered bipolar meds as well. I tried a few drugs but nothing worked and he wanted me on higher doses. My health issue was a real physical issue and I found out of state specialists who understood my symtoms and cared for me appropriately. I hope this dr will consider other issues and refer to another specialist if he doesn’t know the answer.

Visited to establish care for spinal degeneration and prolapses. Physical exam did not seem to be thorough because he did not take the time to elicit the responses, seeming to be in a rush even though I had an hour long appt. While performing a sensory test, he seemed to have used an old safety pin and went about pricking me all over. I wonder if it was at least sterile. The powerful Pregabalin and Prednisolone prescribed by a previous doc were past their expiration date since I like to keep them at hand but try to manage as conservatively as possible with heat for relief or Ibuprufen and reaching for the more powerful ones only if needed. But the reassurance was adequate to know that I was in control. He did not seem to understand my intentions and only ordered a NSAID COX2 inhibitor. I feel inadequately equipped for managing the pain.

He is excellent at listening to the patient. He listened to every single one of my symptoms and my long and complicated history of migraines. He came up with some new treatments that hadn't been thought of before. He and his staff also worked with my insurance to get my migraine meds approved. Previously that had been denied several times, and they are quite expensive. Very attentive doctor!

I can't say enough about the treatment I received from Dr. Boruchow. His diligence and willingness to diagnose and explore my sudden mobility loss resulted in life-changing treatment. Even during the covid-19 shuttering of many doctor's offices he went the extra mile, and we will always be thankful!

Dr Boruchow does not take the time to talk to his patients. He relies on his assistant to handle all phone calls, and never clarifies any messages exchanged between nurses and patients. He interrupts and overtalks which is particularly troublesome for someone working in his specialty. He also lacks the ability to coordinate care with other specialists and is quick to blame others for his shortcomings.

What a terrible experience. This guy should not be able to practice or have any kind of contacts with human beings. He himself is so messed beyond help. He puts you down and speaks to you like you are a piece of dirt. He does not like to listen. He looks at you and he already had made his diagnosis. Seek help Dr. Boruchow. You need it more than I do.

Dr. Boruchow visited me in the hospital twice and both experiences were bad. I was initially pleased that Dr. Boruchow reviewed part of my medical records before coming into the room. Unfortunately, he had already.made up his mind of the only treatment he would support. He belittled the efforts and opinions of past doctors. He's highly qualified with a lot of great reviews, but our experience was regrettable.
