Parkinson’s patient
I was having problems and I was seeing another doctor. Someone recommended Dr Cherry for a second opinion. He realized that I was over medicated and changed my prescription immediately. That was three years ago, I’m still on the same prescription, and I feel wonderful!

I would never recommend him.
My PCP had made the referral to Dr Cherry & given me the appt date & time on a card. When I presented the card Dr Cherry and staff told me my appt was not until 2 hours later. I explained that I was in my PCP's office when the appt was made & heard the conversation so I knew the card was correct. Dr Cherry rudely told me he was going to lunch and would see me at afterwards & left. Mistakes happen so I left & returned 2 hrs later. Dr Cherry was in the office, but kept me waiting for another hour. I had been having problems walking for 3 months due to weakness in my legs. I was in my late 30's and had congenital deformities of my spine. but had never had any problems with my gait. While he examined me he mocked everything I did or said. I'm an RN. He made derogatory comments about the doctor I worked with and told me there was nothing wrong with me & told me to get out. His staff was also very nasty. I was stunned. I went to a Neurosurgeon & have had 1 neck & 2 surgeries.

Dr. Cherry has been my Dr. for over 20 years. He is the best, I would not be able to live a normal life if it wasn't for his knowledge of my condition and how to treat it successfully. He listens to my questions and concerns and then gives appropriate solutions. He is always there when I need him even on the weekends. I don't know what I would do without him. Hopefully, he will never retire. Cindy at the front desk is always nice and helpful.

This is the first neurologist that actually sits and listens. He asks questions about your experiences back to childhood to correctly diagnose you. He is very caring and empathizes with the pain that you are in. He tries everything he can to try to ease your pain. With every visit, he completes a thorough exam to document any changes in your condition. He doesn't blow you off and actually spends time with you. I would recommend him to anyone.

If I did give this provider a zero star I would. I called in for a prescription, and after three weeks I heard nothing back from his office. I recommend that no other patients with a neurological disease visit this office as the care there is substandard and the office itself barely looks professional.

Why on EARTH would a neurologist have the brightest-lit room (sunlight) and the loudest fish tank, when they clearly treat people with migraines? And Dr. Cherry is very glib and condescending in his attitude and archaic in his treatment plans. Would NOT recommend this doctor if you have anything more serious than a splinter. Seriously, one star rating is too much.

Dr Cherry is a pretty awesome neurologist he put me on the right medication to fix my ailments but as for the person working for him at the front desk is rude, she don't seem to have the ability to do her job correctly. Tends to lose vital paperwork and her work area is such a mess that I can understand how she can't keep track of the important things.

Dr. Cherry himself was kind and helpful so to him 5 stars but his front office employees need retrained they never return phone calls, they are rude and rushed over the phone, claim they dont have your number and thats why they dont follow up but thats a terrible excuse I shouldnt have to call as often as i do for follow ups.
