Excellent care
Couldn't be happier with the job Dr. Evans and his staff did with my broken wrist. It required surgery including a plate. He never made me feel rushed in visits and answered each of my many questions. Most importantly, as of my final follow-up visit three and a half months after surgery, my wrist is healing well and everything has gone smoothly.

Not likely
The whole experience with Dr Evans was very disappointing after being hopeful at first visit. He had me getting “inconclusive” tests for a couple months and in the end wanted another test and did not do anything for me- I got an email saying he was leaving the state and it turned out to be a big waste of my time. Very disappointed.

Dr. Evans diagnosed a ganglion cyst. He was able to drain it the first time and when it came back he realized the need for surgery. My problem was taken care of in a timely manner.

Dr Evans is awesome and effectively helped me
I was suffering from carpal tunnel, but to have an actual diagnosis with the associated tests identified that it was a mild case and suggested using arm braces at night which made a HUGE difference. Nevertheless, he referred me to a doctor who could give me further relief. I recommend him. Definitely!

Unwilling to share knowledge
Dr Evans did not inform me that finger tendon repair needed to be done within a small time frame. He wanted to just fuse. I did not know that tendon repair was possible at time I saw Evans, and by the time I got a second opinion, it was too late to save tendon. Either Evans lacks the knowledge of the hand, or just does not have the expertise to perform needed surgery. Either way, he should have told me that if I wanted to repair tendon, then I’d have to do it immediately. I have zero confidence in Evans and zero confidence in OrthoArizona.

Always attentive to what my issues are
Dr. Evans always takes the time to not just ask questions, but to answer my questions as well. He wasn’t quick to suggest surgery, we discussed options that I felt comfortable with.

Dr. Evans was a caring and very efficient doctor.
I have arthritis in both thumb joints. He was very attentive and cared that I was having difficulty in using them. He explained the options I could take, but wanted to try the less invasive measures first. He gave me a shot in the right thumb and said that should help, which it has. I am thankful that he gave me the options first.

Review of DR Evens
Dr. Evens was great! Very helpful. Took time to explain what needed to be done to take care of my challenge. I set the appointment for the following week. Didn't have to wait long. He explained what he would be doing. Gave me a shot to take care of a trigger finger. It disappeared that day and hasn't returned. Great Job Doc! Rich S

Great Doctor
I Made an appointment because my doctor here in Payson said my right wrist was not broken but yet after 7 weeks it was still hurting. Dr. Evans friendly staff took an x-ray and he said it was indeed broken. He was very kind and explained everything in detail which I very much appreciated. I have recommended him to my friend who is having wrist issues.
