EDG Scope Dilation
I woke up from my procedure just to have Doc approach and yell at me , more about what he wasn’t going to do for me than what he was to. I was suppose to have a dilation. He knew that , my intern sent me to have it done. In the past my previous GI whom retired used to do for me every few years to help my swallowing. PS It took 8 times to poke me to get IV started, horrific experience while he stood there asking me my symptoms & previous dilations etc. On the last poke I warned them if you don’t get it ,I’m leaving! Never went back. The GI lab was so outdated and horrible to wake up in. Staff was wonderful.

I feel very privileged to be one of Dr. Grisolano's patients. I was lucky enough to be one of his first patients upon his arrival at KUMed ten years ago, and he's been nothing but stellar. Not only a good doctor, but a good, reliable guy. I literally trust him with my life - and I say that as a young man with a wife and young children. As far as I'm concerned, he's the gold standard.
