I see Jennifer Hopkins FNP annually for my gyn care. The care she provides is thoughtful, professional and efficient. I met Dr Mellum when he first came to Chico. He has grown his practice with a very good team of caring professionals. I look forward to my patient experience with them every year! They define excellence!

Dr. Mellum is kind & sincere. He is a good Dr. He's knowledgeable & willing to explain anything. With that being said, you do need to verbalize your questions. He'll tell you what you need to know, but will not elaborate unless you ask the question. Can be difficult to reschedule appts. Set up appts before you leave. It is a very busy office, often took much longer than anticipated. Sometimes waited 30min-1hr past my appt time before seeing him. This can also make your time w/ him feel rushed.

Dr. Mellum is a fantastic doctor - very down to earth, always informative, and very sensitive to your needs and what you and your family values! We found him professional, friendly, and very learned in the field of geriatrics.

Dr Mellum & his staff go above & beyond to make sure you have an uneventful pregnancy & delivery. They are awesome with completing disability paperwork in a timely manner. An all around wonderful experience.
