Very rude and dismissive when I questioned the care my 86 year old mother received. She had been sent to the ER by her personal care facility due to nausea, dizziness, and change in mental status. Because she has a medical history of frequent UTI’s and urosepsis, I asked Dr. Miekley why he had not ordered the bare minimum labs and urine tests. He became very indignant and stated he had performed a thorough examination and found nothing medically wrong. She had been in the ER not more than 20 minutes, when the nursing home was notified of her discharge. As a nurse and as my mother’s medical POA, and even just as a human being, I have EVERY RIGHT to question my mother’s medical care. This doctor needs a lesson in humility and human kindness. He should work with lab rats, not people! I would give him a zero score if it were an option!

This doctor did not care about patient privacy which was evidenced in his loud tone and demeaning manner towards myself, his patient. He then stated that the issue which brought me to the hospital was non-existent and that he recommended I see a psychiatrist for any further treatment.

Terrible bedside manner. Rude. I have never met a doctor who was as rude as this man when treating my wife. Does not listen to patient. We were glad he went off shift and another doctor took over.

Jerk! Patient experience and family experience are not a value with this guy. Did not believe my daughter was having pain. She received an antibiotic and discharged. Not 1 block down the road I had to take daughter right back, I know what a kidney stone looks like in a patient. He told me to shut up and sit down and accused me of yelling at the nurse, which never happened. Worst human being ever.
