Dr Norris Knee replacement
I had a knee replacement two years ago. I am in constant pain and I’ve gone to Dr. Norris a couple of times regarding the ongoing pain and he was very indifferent of no help and said however it is at the end of the first year is how it’s going to be, as if there’s no help at all. Completely ruined my knee.

Waste of time
I don't know why I wasted my time seeing another doctor at PBOI. None of them care about you at all. I had a list of things I wanted to talk about with Dr. Norris and he didn't let me talk about half of them. I feel like he wasn't actually listening to anything I said. Then after prescribing medication, he didn't even explain it and just left to see another patient! I literally had to ask the nurse at the desk the rest of my questions because he left with explaining anything to me. I thought he was coming back into my room but no. Really???? It is so hard to find a Dr. these days that is actually thorough, listens to you, and really explains everything so you don't leave with any questions. I have seen 3 different doctors at PBOI so far and they're all the same.

Cynical and bedside manner is pretty much nonexistent. Walks out in the hallway as he is explaining what the plan of care will be in the future. Very upset each time when leaving.

No bedside manner, doesn't seem to listen or care.
I've seen Dr. Norris twice in the span of a year for knee pain which he has attributed to tendonitis. He doesn't really spend any time with me and each time, prescribed steroids for the inflammation. When I told him I recently started jogging, he said that maybe jogging wasn't for me and suggested cycling. FYI, last year I cycled over 4,000 miles and the reason I took up jogging was to cross train for my multi-week long distance cycle trips. I wonder if a buff man the same age as me came in, if he would have been as discouraging? I plan to find another orthopedist; one that will give me suggestions on how to manage my tendonitis while also maintaining my workout goals. According to him, I have no actual physical issue (torn or broken anything) so it doesn't make sense to me to just quit. I think Dr. Norris just thinks I'm too old to jog. He basically said something to that effect. I'm 55. In short, he spends little time, doesn't appear to care and offered no real helpful advice.

hip replacement
I allowed Dr Norris to perform a hip replacement surgery & im sorry I did . he simple doesn't listen . I was already on pain meds for my knee replacement .So I told him to not give me different medication , but he did .I had a two week post op.appointment but he canceled & pushed me back till a third week , but canceled that one too & pushed me back to four weeks. Meanwhile that weekend my incision got infected & opened up . Left a much worse painful scar . None of this should have happened.

I had thorough documentation done, review of records, and full discussion of reasons for pain, options for treatment, and what to expect with each option. I felt lije i had control of my treatment and not just told to 'try this' for a while and see what happens.

Dr. Was fine billing office is terrible.
The problem is the billing office. Just do what your office promised to do. That's it, nothing else that's all I was asking you to do was to honor what your office said you would do. In the end I got swindled out of about half of what was owed to me.
