Dr. Scott Petermann, MD

Poor excuse for a physician. Turned a 93 year old patient away after she had come to his office in the rain for her scheduled appointment. Her balance was very low and he instructed his “very rude” office staff to tell her she had to make another appointment. Let me note this was exclusively the office in Valdosta. This patient always pays her bills and had not received a statement. The staff members are beyond rude. Overall, this physician and the office staff lack patient care, compassion, personality and professionalism!! Absolutely horrendous! Will not return. Let me finish by stating that the office manager was very helpful in helping navigate the unheard of situation.

Dr. Peterman was rude and impatient. The other staff was fine. He made me feel like I shouldn’t have wasted his time. 50 dollars and 2 hours later I walked out with the same problem I walked in with.

Terrible! Each visit with Dr. Peterman get worse! Dr. Peterman doesn’t care about his patients, just the money they fork out to pay him with! I had an appointment with him and he walked in the exam room and he had no clue why I was there! He basically told me he didn’t have time to do the minor procedure I needed. Of course not because doing cataract and lasik surgeries he can make WAY MUCH MORE MONEY!! Major communication problems with him and his staff! Long wait times! Just plain rude!!

Appointment at 9:00am, got out at 2:00pm. The office manager sucks. They keep adding more docs and staff to pay that new building mortgage, but the service keeps getting worse. Also check your billing statement and the co-pays very carefully.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Petermann and his staff. He saved my husband's eye. His staff is so friendly and helpful. I recommend him and his staff to anyone.

In my opinion Dr. Peterman has the bedside manner of wet cardboard. He never looked at me while he spoke, never introduced himself, his answers to my questions were curt & dismissive. His staff was the only saving grace, I think they try to make up for his lack of medical/social interaction. His skill as a doctor seems fine but I will find a new doctor.

2016,First visit to this office, extensive wait time, in spite of having a scheduled appointment. I was evaluated by a young lady who was engrossed in a sidebar conversation with another member of the staff. She was aloof, cool and appeared to be put out when she gathered my medical background. Extensive wait time to see Dr. Petermann, who did a mediocre exam, but sub par compared to my prior experience with Ophthalmologists....The offices staff was running around in circles,
