Pain free
OUCH !! In 2017 I fell hard on my right shoulder onto the concrete. After a few minuets I managed to get to my feet. Then I realized that I could just barley move my arm because of the pain. Several months passed and while I was driving I saw a complex of buildings, bone and joint or something like that. I made an appointment. After the Dr examined me he got a scan with contrast. He said that I had torn 3 Tendons into and the 4th one halfway. He said that it couldn't be repaired and that I need a reverse shoulder repair where they cut out the socket and saw off the ball, then put the ball where the socket was. The anesthesiologist said that it is a lengthy procedure and would be very dangerous since I'm 79. My daughter is an RN and said to get a second opinion from Dr Rahhal who is well known through out the medical community. After Dr Rahhal examined me he said I can fix it. And by golly he did. I took pain pills for 3 days, It's been 4 year & I have full motion & no pain. Great Job!!

Scott Rahul operated on my torn miscinus in 2017 he had me in surgery for 12 min I guess he didn't bother to look at mri because I had two torn miscinus he fixed one but left the worst one without fixing it.I know this because his PA looked it up and said guess he thought it didn't need fixed,he wouldn't even see me on my first visit after surgery sent his PA. When he did see me was rude and didn't give any explanation for not fixing both my torn miscinus, he definitely doesn't have a conscience,I have suffered everyday since he didn't do his job ??

Dr. Scott Rahhal is a conservative doctor. He was recommended to me by Dr. Chris Browne and Dr. George Mauerman for best dealing with serious at times shoulder pain. Both doctors work closely with Dr. Rahhal and say he is highly respected in their practice. Dr. Rahhal looked at my x-rays and MRI and pointed out the problem(s) and told me that even reverse shoulder replacement could not be counted on to make things better. He recommended a cortisone shot and rehab for the best approach with a one month followup. Dr. Rahhal has worked in sports medicine at ORU along with his Advanced Orthopedic practice.

Surgical day never saw dr. Felt like I was in a surgical mill. Shoulder made grinding sounds right after I was released for movement. My knee (done together) still flashed pain & seemed to almost go backwards, something it had never done before. Seeing Rahhal for final follow up, he was surprised he hadn't ordered PT with the icing machine so he did then. PT said I'd adjusted my movement to the pain and had built unfortunate scarring - if I'd gone immediately, I wouldve gotten a bettera outcome

Dr. Rahhal is an amazingly caring doctor. I have been having trouble with my knees since I was 13 years old. My first ortho was all about surgery. everytime I saw him that's what he said we needed to do and before I knew it 3 years and 6 surgeries had gone by and I was still in pain When I went to see Dr. Rahhal he immediately said he wanted to try something other than surgery and he has continued to help me with alternatives for 7 years He bought me so much time He is my hero and I am grateful
