Kind, Caring and SMART!!
Dr. Shapiro is wonderful. I have been his paient for a number of years and can’t imagine not having him as my primary care physician. He truly cares for his patients in every way. And when he realizes a patient’s medical situation is in need of a different specialist, he doesn’t hesitate to refer that patient to the appropriate physician. His office staff truly listens and are responsive to the needs of the patients. I recommend Dr. Shapiro without reservation .

MDVIP should be GREEDY MD!
Does not return telephone calls or reply to emails. Pay $2200 a year for that? Heck NO! And, a nasty attitude! If I could give negative stars, I would!

Dr. Shapiro is the BEST doctor!
Dr. Shapiro has been my internist/cardiologist for several years. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, understanding, and a great physician. I HIGHLY value him and know that he is concerned about me and my health. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone that needs a cardiologist/electrophysiologist/internist. He is my MDVIP. He spends time to listen to my concerns and promptly responds to my emails.

I was highly recommend To Dr. Shapiro. Where he is "charming and kind" upon meeting, he is not efficient and knowledgeable. I come from a top medical system in New York and when you have an internist(especially one you MUST pay 1800 to engage with, he should have all and any kind of doctors at his disposal. Whenever I called for a specialist he didn't know any and when he would "look one up in a book" he couldn't get me an app as my MDVIP. In addition, I have high cholesterol and a long history of cardiac problems in my family and after hiring him a year ago he couldn't even manage to schedule me in for an EKG/ stress test. I was recently quite ill and reached out to him for help and NOT surprisingly , he had no doctors to refer causing me to reach out to my former doctors When I finally said something to him, his response was to yell at me and tell me we were not a good fit Sadly, I paid $1800 to be treated like this

Great. Listens to your description of symptoms. Asks you about your life-style. after basic physical exam. he proceeds to administer the appropriate testing. He communicates clearly his diagnosis and what you need to do.

I would not. I am older and do not think Dr. Shapiro is interested in anything except heart health. I was a patient and had trouble getting phone calls returned. He totally missed a compression fracture even though I told him that my back was bothering me. The staff who work here are wonderful. It was due to them that I got a referral to an orthopedist. The office is nice and his credentials are very good. I would recommend him to someone only interested in heart issues.

I met Dr. Shapiro once in person and had a number of email exchanges as I searched for a possible change in concierge PCP (as my current PCP is in another city). Dr. Shapiro was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. However, I did not change because the trip to his office from my home takes too long. If he was closer, I would definitely have made the change.
