In August of 2022 Sean Jebraili ( I will never call him a doctor again) was suppose to fuze my lower back and help my spinal stenosis. What he did was hap-hazzardly place hardware around my spinal cord that wasn’t properly secured to my spine causing me to shrink by over an inch, and pinched my spinal cord causing me extreme pain and nerve damage. Finally went through 2 very painful surgeries last week to repair the damage that Jebraili has put me through. Again, run away from this doctor!

Stay Away
After having fusion surgery 13 months ago, my back pain was still so bad I went to see a highly recommended surgeon. After yet another MRI, I need to have a corrective surgery. I would never recommend Jebraili to anyone.

Lumbar fusion surgery
Dr J was outstanding explaining pre and pot surgery issues. On first appointment he moved up my surgery due to complications not addressed by prior orthopedic dr. He resolved my back pain and sciatica via fusion of L3 & L4. Very personable very professional. Called on weekend to check status after surgery. His admin assistant Shiela was also very supportive. Go there!!!

Dr Jebraili has performed 2 cervial spine fusion surgeries and a lumbar fusion and he is incredible! I have 30 years experience working in trauma hospitals in Fl and more recently pain management facilities and outpatient surgery centers in Va so I know gifted and knowledgeable doctors when I see them. He is also incredibly kind and I have the utmost trust and respect for him!

"You'll live up until you see me...
...after that - who knows!" I am still shocked by the level of unprofessionalism of this man. He saw my MRI and xray, and within 8 minutes of the beginning of the telemed call, he told me no one's ever died on his table, "but you never know!" And that he'll be operating within 1 mm of my spinal cord - "one slip and you're paralyzed!" I did not know what to make of it. I still don't know if he's an egomaniac who does not care about his patient's comfort when they're considering an invasive surgery, or if he's relationally stupid. Either way, he told me we could "muck around" with injections and all that, but really he thinks I should just go ahead and do the surgery. I had to ask him what that surgery was because he didn't explain it. He recommended I set up a face-to-face appointment with his office person (who was very nice), and when I came in in three weeks, to "come in strong, like either you're going to do it or not." Seek a different doc - this man gets nowhere near my spine.

Over the top obnoxious doctor!!
Dr. Jebrailli is a good surgeon, however, he is very obnoxious in manner. He is too over the top for me. After my spinal fusion with him, he told me to push myself to be able to touch my toes and stretch harder. This resulted in my herniation above the fusion. I told him I herniated above the fusion 7 months after surgery, and he told me that was not the case. After an MRI, he admitted I was right and that I just needed to live with it and move on to a pain management specialist. His bed side manner is terrible. I will never go to him again. He told me that I should be thanking him for felling better. Actually I have more complications now since the fusion did not take, and I still have nerve pain in my lower lumbar. Would not recommend.

Dr. Jebraili is an Amazing neurosurgeon and has done 2 back surgeries on me. He is a straight forward no non-sense type of doctor. If he can help you, you'll know, if he cannot help you you'll know (this is what I like most about him) and he is an amazingly gifted Neurosurgeon. Given the choice I would go nowhere else.

He gave me a syrnix and then dismissed it saying I probably am developing MS. But I do not have MS and I do have a syrnix which showed up post operative cervical surgery. I have Horrible pain now.

I saw many surgeons in the area for my back but Dr. Jebraili was the only one who cared to listen and finally fixed my back. He knows what he is doing and really cared about his patients. The nurses at the hospital also highly recommended him which was very reassuring. You won't go wrong with seeing him for your spine problems.

I was first appointment after lunch and he was 20 minutes late - explaining that his lunch ran long. He looked at my MRI and then barely examined me. Said I got to him too late - that if I did not get surgery I would be using a walker or in a wheelchair. Said that the surgery was minor "something I do on my way to a bigger case," and that "what I get paid from the insurance barely makes it worth my time." Two doctors allayed his scare tactics. Most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen.
