No way.
Right before I was anesthetized for an upper endoscopy, he told me I “could stand to lose a little weight.” I had just lost 25 pounds and felt good about myself. Why would he decide to mention a weight judgment just before my procedure? I felt horrible after I woke up. Fortunately, no issue was discovered in my endoscopy. I will never go back to him.

Dr Lacey is a fantastic doctor. He has provided care for my elderly mother for many years. Unlike many practices where they process you as quickly as possible, Dr Lacey always takes time to fully understand the patient's current condition and he never rushes the appointment. Sometimes the appointments may be running a bit behind schedule, but it is because he cares about the patient rather than the clock. He is kind, thorough, and provides excellent medical care. You will not find a better Gastro specialist than Dr Lacey.
