Dr. Sean Nork, MD

I was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after a serious motorcycle accident with five factures in my leg, including my tibia, a portion of which jutted out from the front of my calf. Dr. Nork was the orthopedic surgeon on-call who made the repairs, adding plates, a rod, screws, and other hardware. Weeks later, I met Dr. Nork for the first time. He’s extremely personable, approachable, and willing to answer my endless questions. The proof of his brilliance as a surgeon occurred months later when I took my first steps, and eventually returned to my previous activities with relatively few issues. I’m deeply grateful for his diligence and determination to fully repair my leg, over the course of two other surgeries to further strengthen and align the bones.

In 2001, Dr. Nork led a team of surgeons to repair my scapula that was broken in two, in an accident in northern Idaho. After some research, the ER doctor found Dr. Nork as a leading expert in repairing scapulas. After transport to Seattle, 6.5 hours of surgery, 3 steel plates and 13 screws, I was able to return to work as a police officer in 3.5 months. I will be forever grateful for the skill and knowledge of Dr. Nork.
