Dr. Scully did my hip replacement on my right hip in 2018, I had my yearly check-up and everything looks well. I felt as a patient that he did a very fine job with the surgery. If you ask a question he just gets to the point and you have your answer. I have n problem with that. I trust him as a Doctor in his qualifications and skills. He has proven to be an excellent Doctor. What more do you need?

My surgery, to include pre- and post-, went like clockwork. He is very professional -- speaks briefly, but always directly to the point. I wouldn't hesitate in referring anyone to Dr. Scully who is contemplating hip replacement surgery. I'm one happy pain-free new person. :-)

In early 2017 I experienced joint pain in my left hip, and knee areas. In addition I had weakened left left muscles as a result of an earlier left knee replacement operation done in Connecticut in December 2016. Dr. Scully performed a complete left hip replacement operation in July 2017. Gradually I have recovered the ability to walk and bend my left knee and leg. I walk a mile three times a week to gain access to a transit van to take me to the Onslow County Senior Center near Richlands., NC,

Everything was fine until the day of my surgery, he couldn't take hardly any time to talk to me, and I was never given literature or met with the knee replacement person as I told I would be, they had me sedated and out before he even got into the surgery room. When I went to my follow up appointment after surgery, he was very rude did not or would not answer any of my questions, or concerns, would not refill my pain medication-I have been in EXTREME pain since surgery VERY UNHAPPY!

He never talked to me after surgery, nor explained what he found in my knee after surgery on my 1st office visit afterward. He came and went so fast at the visit. I didn't have time to ask anything.

I had a great experience with Dr. Scully. He removed a bening bone tumor from the right hip joint. He was caring, warm, professional, kept me informed about my situation and provided me with various options. I wish he was back in Florida.
