Could not have asked for a better first office visit. Dr. Abadie was very thorough and honest regarding my health care needs. I appreciated his kindness, professionalism and knowledge. He treated me using a holistic approach and developed a plan plan of care that was customized and appropriate for my current needs. Would highly recommend him.

Dr Abadie was on call when I swallowed a sharp foreign body. He made arrangements for emergency endoscopy which he performed late at night. He has a great bedside manner and puts patients at ease with his caring attitude. I also cannot say enough about the great staff at Waccamaw Hospital endoscopy and the ER who took super care of me.

Great!
Front office was nice although not overly friendly. Nurse was great. I’ve had UC for over 40 years and she told me things no one had ever said before. Dr Abadie was great! Professional yet friendly. Took his time. No complaints with this office.

We can say Dr. Abadie is a superb professional who answered every concern , was kind, and knowledgeable; and he and the entire GI staff and Debra, CNA were excellent from beginning to end at Tidelands Health same day surgical suites! We felt grateful to be in their care. Great teamwork. Thank you !

Yep, don’t waste your time. Seems no one in this office cares about your health and has absolutely no sense of urgency. Unlike a previous review, I don’t think they are overwhelmed, I just don’t they care. I would suggest to look elsewhere.

Dr. A is excellent. He LISTENS. Not many Dr's bother to. I can bounce anything off him, & he doesn't act like I'm an idiot for being proactive about my health. Great bed/chairside manor, explains things, answers questions (even if you have a laundry list of them). You leave feeling good, even if you aren't. Highly Recommend.

He is a nice doctor, gave me details for my cares, but his staff at front desk Stacy was very rude. I feel in general Tideland Hospital Staff are rude then any other facilities. Most of doctors are good.

Dr. Abedie and his staff are so nice and caring. They take the time to listen to you and show they care. I have had Crohn's Disease for 13 years and I have felt very taken care of by them. I highly recommend them.

I had an appointment with Dr. Abadie and wound up seeing a Nurse Practitioner the very first time. Never saw the Dr. Carrie theNP scheduled both endoscopy and colonoscopy. After procedures follow up appointment was no more than 30 seconds with DR who then said Carrie will give me results of tests. No discussion or advice from Dr what so ever. My next appt. they mixed time up but refused to see me. Carrie was very rude. Stay away from this practice. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful.

Very nice doctor and staff, but difficult to get an appointment. Dr. Abadie is only in the office 2 weeks out of the month. Totally screwed up my referral for tests at Duke University Hospital. We drove 7 hours to North Carolina for nothing! This practice is greatly overwhelmed. Dont waste your time.

Never saw a doctor. Saw a Nurse Practitioner who insisted my wife schedule a colonoscopy when her problem was upper GI related. Scheduled a colonoscopy two months down the road when the problem was my wife couldn't swallow liquid or solids. Wound up going to another doctor in Surfside, scheduled an appointment for the next day with an upper GI endoscopy within a week. Stay away from this practice.
