She is a great listener and seems very compassionate. BUT she is. KP doc in the KP wheel…. Found out while she was being sympathetic to me she was putting things in my chart that had medical doctors working against me….. just now finding out about a diagnosis she buried into my chart and never told me about. If you are a Kaiser patient GET YOUR RECORDS!! They lie lie lie

Nothing personal, but I can't recommend any KP doc
My first appointment went well, but the schedule was full, so I was told to call on Monday to schedule a new one. A death in the family led to me not getting to call until Tuesday. The schedule was full again, so they scheduled an appointment 5 weeks out with me on a waitlist for an earlier appointment. I did get offered an earlier appointment at the very last minute, which I could not take because I had prior work commitments. The day of my scheduled appointment, they canceled my appointment and made me call to reschedule, offering me a new time over a month in the future. I've never had a psychiatrist who doesn't just schedule your next appointment at the end of the current one. How are mental health patients supposed to navigate this sort of bureaucracy and these extremely long wait times while their mental states continue deteriorate?

Dr Dewani herself is excellent. Good listener and responsive to patients. However working within the Kaiser system itself is clearly a handicap. The Kaiser behavioral health system's a mess.
