Dr. Seema Kumar, MD

I was referred to Dr. Kumar by my primary care physician in Oct. 2024. She has been very diligent in helping me deal with my medical issues, from diagnosis to explaining options in detail. I usually show up to my appointment with a list of questions to ask, but she addresses them before i get a chance to ask! The nurses and staff have also been very helpful, friendly and supportive. A big thank you to all of them, especially Dr. Kumar!

I had migraines for years and finally decided to get it checked out. We worked together to find the right medications to take care of the issue. I would recommend Dr. Kumar to anyone suffering from migraines—she listens to concerns and shows great happiness that I am better.

Dr Kumar took the time to listen to my symptoms and consider them objectively. She explained treatment possibilities and the reasoning behind them. She also explained practical changes I could make in my diet and lifestyle. And because I will soon have a change in my insurance, she considered treatment costs as well.

Dr. Kumar has been instrumental in helping me manage my chronic migraines. She is very straightforward in her approach and helps me to understand the options available. I appreciate her honesty and realistic approach to tackling a complex health issue that often doesn't have an easy 'one size fits all' solution. Dr. Kumar and her staff are always kind, respectful, and prompt. I don't have to wait long to be seen, and I know I can always call in or message on the provider app if I have any questions or issues.

My daughter who has an intellectual disability, was ill and seeing dr. Kumar. She was working closely with us. Then my daughter had to be hospitalized in a different facility, dr kumar doesn't practice there. She called me on her time to inquire about my daughter. She did this 3 different times. My daughter is now back working closely with her. I've never had a doctor devote so much of her own personal time with us. She is very good with explaining things to my daughter. Her bedside manner is impeccable. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I'm a RN with a masters degree, I worked in critical care at a large hospital, i know what a good dpctor consists of. None of the neurologists compare to her.

Dr. Kumar, takes the time to spend with you and listens to what you are telling her. She is always very professional. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a neurologist.

Dr. Kumar was so caring, patient, and listened to understand what was being said. There wasn't a rush or you felt you didn't understand. She made me feel relaxed and not afraid to share my feelings. Dr. Kumar gave very good advice and extended my visit with covering blood work and test as well.

Dr Kumar has treated me for Parkinsons Disease for six years. She is patient, knowledgeable and very good at explaining what's going on with my disease.

Doctor Kumar has been great with my father. She listens to my father and answers all of his questions. She is empathetic and very knowledgeable.

I was there with my mother and I've never met such a rude doctor. My mother was diagnosed by multiple doctors with Myasthenia Gravis and MS by Mayo clinic and by top doctor in Madison Wisconsin at UW. But she told her that they were all wrong and she had nothing wrong. The entire time she was there my mom had a hard time breathing. When my mom eats she chokes. This doctor is horrible and over talks you and told my mother to stop taking all her meds.

My original Dr moved,so I was referred to her,she proceeded to tell me that what I was diagnosed with in Madison Wis., I never had, for 15 years ,she believes she is the best doctor of all, and will not listen to you talks over you,I will NEVER go back

Very knowledgable for older patient's problems. Very good questions and follow up. Accurate diagnosis.

She was quick to speak without listening to what we were saying and extremely hard to understand. She was short at times and dismissive. Very confusing visit. We had to call our primary doctor to make sense out of what Dr. Kumar said.
