I was with my former Doctor for over 25 years. When he retired I was lost as to what I was going to do about finding another doctor that I could trust. The first time that I met with Dr. Safavy, I was made to feel very comfortable with him, and felt that I had made the right decision in choosing him to continue with my medical journey.

Dr. Safavy has such a great bedside manner. He is the doctor of all doctors. During each visit whether in person or over the phone, he always provides a better understanding my of health standings, what to expect as it relates to my diagnosis, and next steps. It's almost like he's teaching me and if there needs to be more clarification he's ready to put it in layman's terms. Whatever it takes to get the job done, he does it with care, and patience. I'm so grateful to have him as my urologist. YOU ROCK Dr. Safavy.

When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer I was in total shock. The new experience had my mind in a sadden warped speed spiral to say the least. By me not having options with other surgeons he was the only choice I had. With that being said, Dr. Safavy was right man for the job!! Through it all I never expected Dr. Safavy to be endlessly hanging around the phone waiting on me to call but I do know with no doubt I got ALL of my questions answered. He informed me greatly which allowed me to make the right choice for my treatment. Now that I’m beyond my surgery I must say I am truly grateful and even more humbled. Dr. Safavy is not only a lovable guy but he has the temperament for the profession he occupies. He is truly my guardian angel…

Dr Safavy was the doctor who performed my prostatectomy and I must say I’m very pleased that it was him, he was very detailed, professional, caring and always available to answer any questions and or concerns before, during and after the procedure. In our appointment today he remained that same person and being sure any questions I may have had were answered. Dr Safavy gets a 10 out of 10 from me and I would recommend him to anyone.

What always stands out to me about all of my visits with the Amazing Dr. Safavy is his attention to detail, willingness to explain and ability to truly make me feel seen, heard and that everything will be fine!! He became my urologist in 2019, after having voiding complications from my 2nd pregnancy. He has been relentless in ensuring that I receive the ultimate care and relief. I recently had my 3rd baby and had issues as well and in his nature, Dr. Safavy and his team are truly championing my cause! I always tell him I’m forever grateful for him being assigned as my urologist because all physicians aren’t created equally!!! They broke the mold with Dr. Safavy and I stand on that!!!! He’s excellence with care and extremely professional yet personal! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!!

Very easy to talk to about concerns.

Dr Safavy is very through and doesn’t mind taking the time needed to explain everything so you can understand. He comes with very high recommendations from Emory. I have been treated by him for 2 years and he has worked with various doctors with me and always follows up with me to make sure I’m okay. He has such great bed side manner and just a great, caring person. I would highly recommend him!!

Dr. Safavy is a very understanding, intuitive, accomplished and knowledgeable Urologist. As a patient of his for several years, I've never felt rushed out of the appointment as he always makes and takes the time needed to address my concerns. If I encounter a non-emergency situation, after hours or on weekends, he or his on-call staff have always provided supportive directions. Dr. Safavy thinks outside the box, well in advance of most problems and has brought clarity to my issues. His office staff is excellent, always going to great lengths to provide thoughtful and competent care and service. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Safavy to anyone desiring a Urologist who is detailed in his diagnosis and treatment strategy.
