Told me wrong foot was broken after XRaying both
I visited Foxhall Podiatry in October 2024 and saw Dr. Ruggieri for issues with both of my feet. Dr. Ruggieri took X-rays of both my feet, then informed me that my right toe was broken and to follow up with her again in five weeks. At my five week follow up appointment, Dr. Ruggieri informed me that she was incorrect - that my LEFT toe was the one that was broken, and that the right one had a small fracture. Dr. Ruggieri’s incorrect and wrong diagnosis caused me to believe my RIGHT toe was broken when in reality, all along my LEFT toe was broken. I would highly recommend you obtain a second opinion if you are seeing Dr. Ruggieri. The administrative staff took over 5 weeks to bill my insurance for my initial visit in October and only cleared up the billing issue (on their side) after I prompted them to do so.
