Dr. Selwyn-Lloyd McPherson, MD

My husband suffered from debilitating headaches which would occur every two to three years. Despite many doctors and ER visits, no one could help him until he went to Dr. McPherson. After asking many questions, he knew exactly what they were and how to treat them. The diagnosis was cluster headaches which are similar to severe migraines. Thanks to Dr. McPherson for helping him through this nightmare!

Dr McPherson is an excellent physician. He is knowledgeable and takes each patient personally. He will spend countless hours or days contacting other physician’s. He will get the answers you need. Maybe not what you want to hear but what are the actual answers. His staff is excellent and if he accepts your case you are in the best hands

Comments are true about the wait time in their reception area, and sometimes they cancel appointments short notice. That being said, Dr McPherson is truly the best doctor I've ever encountered. He cares about his patients and goes the xtra mile to help them. Above and beyond is a description of his care. He does his research, not giving you a few possibilities of what's wrong. He jumps in with both feet, and gives you his all. His expertese is worth waiting for. So glad to call him my doctor.

I love having him as my neurologist. He's one who genuinely cares about his patients and He shares his opinions. I was referred to him by my primary physician and I've been Dr. McPherson' s patient for about a decade. I would not go to any other nuerologist.

Dr. McPherson is a top notch doctor. Extremely intelligent, able to see the big picture, compassionate and willing to advocate for his patients. He has addressed issues that my Mom's GP missed or wasn't able to diagnose. My Dad passed away and my mom came down with pneumonia. Dr. McPherson called Mom's GP right away to stress the importance of keeping her out of the hospital with her vestibular disorder and trauma of my Dad's death. With meds and his help she quickly recovered at home.

This Dr. Basically wasted 1 whole month of my time. In testing my condition, he had 9 vials of blood drawn, afterwhich was completed the doctor confessed to not have a clue on what the rezults were telling him. A la lab care plus who took about a month to complete. Neither could this Dr. Advise a clear plan to restore my driving clearance in any meaningful way. He was only cocerned for the motive no less of the recomending physician who actually did provide direction. This Dr. is yhe pits!

Dr. McPherson has been caring for my son since he was three years old. He is always attentive and caring. He takes time to listen to all of our issues and concerns. He stays current on all available treatments and is careful to make sure the medications and treatments are what is best for my son. His staff is efficient and caring also. Everyone at the office shows that they care about the patient and the caretakers. My son is now eighteen. We are great fun for Dr. McPherson.

When Dr. McPherson came in the room, I knew I liked him. He took time to talk with me, and he listened to me. This was what I had been looking for in a Neurologist. He even made notes forme on what we discussed.
