This man saved me in 2008 from stage 3 melanoma
It was stage 3 malignant melanoma and he got it all. Funny thing is 4 years later he gave me a colonaposy. Friendly and funny and a good surgeon.

Still Sick thanks to YOU
He was incredibly callous and cold during both visits. He spent the majority of the visit berating me for having an umbilical hernia and smacking and popping gum. It was REPULSIVE. I left with more pain then I came in with and I’m still dealing with the hernia that he blatantly refused to operate on. This doctor clearly has a bias against obese patients and needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. I’m still dealing with the hernia after all those years because this ghoul refused to help me.

Friendly, competent service.
Easy to schedule, location was easy to find, friendly staff, short wait in waiting room/patient room. Dr Gambarin listened well, was positive, discussed options and explained issues. I would recommend Dr Gambarin.

Dr. Semyon Gambarin is the best Dr. I've ever been to. He empathizes with you and gives you options and doesn't just jump to surgery. He tries to find you the best treatment at the lowest costs. He is great at communicating even when the subject is something most people would have difficulty discussing.

After my surgery still having a problem with one area . I went in November 2017 to inform Dr, Gambarin he said it should not be an issue. Now I have a bigger issue and Dr. Gambarin will not redo or fix his missed stitches. They want my insurance to cover it. my coverage has changed now. Seton Northwest is also responsible will not fix it.

Had minor in-office surgery. Dr. Gambarin is very professional in every way, had a great sense of humor, very easy to talk to, had reviewed my records in advance and was prepared to answer any questions I may have and then do the surgery in a prompt, professional manner. Loved this guy !

My boyfriend came in as a self-pay patient with no insurance. We were told the appointment would cost exactly $150 for his visit. We were told this information twice, once over the phone, and once at the front desk when he paid for his visit. In the end, we were billed an additional $145 dollars "after review" of the appointment. The only reason we were given for the additional amount billed was that his record had gone through "medical coding," whatever that means. Should be illegal.

Dr. Gambarin is amazing! He has excellent bedside manner and he is extremely patient. When he is in the room with you he makes you feel at ease, he is not rushed, in fact you almost get the feeling that you are his only appointment that day because you have his undivided attention. Most importantly, he is highly intelligent yet genuinely humble. I highly recommend him for anyone that is in need of a consult by a general surgeon.

Calm, knowledgeable, approachable, and personable. He did a coloniscopy at Northwest Hills that was superb. It went iff witthout a hitch. What a wonderful team. I had special needs like hypertension and sleep apnea and they monitored those carefully.
