Dr. Sepideh Khalilian, MD

I was confounded at the doctors lack of knowledge on menopause, treatments, symptoms and education. She is an OB GYN with no knowledge of menopause. She actually asked me why I would consider BHRT? What are they teaching these doctors? Unfortunately, her beside manner was equal to her lack of education. Both showed her gaps in knowledge and inability to converse intelligently and compassionate with her patients... How can one call themselves a Gynecologist with no medical knowledge of menopause?

I feel good about my visits. The doc thoroughly explained my fibroid issue; used a model to point to anatomy; was in tune with reading my facial expressions and seeing my concern before I knew I was concerned myself! I had same same great service with procedure. This is coming from a doc that didn't identify my issues that I likely had for eight years! I'm grateful.

I went in for my anual visit.Upon arrival to the office,this was during Covid,my temp. was never taken nor did they ask any questions about my exposure to covid.When I got in the room the nurse never checked my bp,never asked what medications I was taking,never asked if I was having any problems.This was a yearly checkup.The point of the checkup is suppose to find out how you are doing.The doctor came in,performed the pap smear and thats it.She didn't check my breasts at all.I tried to ask questions and she made me feel I was bothering her.I had concerns that were not answered.I had several tests none pap smear,mamogram.After 3 weeks I called the office for results sinse they hadn't called me.Everything was normal.I asked why I was not called the nurse said they don't call if tests are negative.This is totally unacceptable,no news is not always good news.I am a retired nurse and worked in an office 20years.I felt like they really didn't have my best interest at heart.Do not recommend.

She’s an excellent provider. I have a very high risk pregnancy and she has stayed on top of it from the beginning and I can’t say the same for any other doctor with any other pregnancy I’ve ever had.

Dr. Khalillian scheduled a surgery for me and ordered an MRI. She never called to discuss results. The office never scheduled a pre op visit before the surgery. Because I expressed my concerns to office staff, her unprofessional nurse Sherrita had her cancel everything at the last minute. Who operates on someone without initiating a physical exam orders tests and never discusses the results with the patient? Standard and quality of care is deplorable and I highly would NOT recommend.
