Dr. Serghei Burcovschii, MD

Didn't review my file or understand my history. Kept having to use his phone but wouldn't look up any other doctor notes in my file. Just wanted to urge me to follow up with other specialists. Referred me to the wrong doctor who doesn't handle my issue. Didn't review test results.

If I could give this office 0 stars, I would. They completely mislead patients about what’s covered by insurance, only to hit you with unexpected bills afterward. This place feels like a trap to squeeze money out of you, and their lack of transparency is unacceptable. Avoid this office at all costs if you value honesty and straightforward communication.

I am surprised at how well Dr Burchovsky is able to listen and deduce what could be wrong in such a short amount of time. I initially came to him when I was feeling heavy symptoms and was mostly Incoherent. I honestly barely remember my first appointment. Most other doctors I've met with don't take me seriously so I've avoided medical attention for years because I didn't see the point in wasting my time and money if I'm just going to be ignored. My lower iron levels and other minor low markers have been something multiple other doctors have remarked on throughout my adolescence but it was always inevitably brushed off. But my symptoms have become more prevalent in my adult years so I caved Into seeing a doctor and finally, after one visit with Dr Burchovsky I am diagnosed with Anemia. Who knew a vitamin deficiency could cause someone to have so many issues? He is careful and it's obvious he doesn't want to over diagnose. My experience with the Dr and staff was excellent. I felt I can trust my health with their knowledge and care

So Dr Burcovschii is great, shows concern etc, but I had chest x rays last Wednesday that were stat and he hasn't reached out to me to follow up. He ordered x rays because he said he could hear "secretions" when he listened to my lungs. Also, my indicators for low iron are constantly low and while he says that's normal I find it odd that there's no information given to me on how to improve it. There's no way to improve iron through dietary means so it makes me feel like it's not important to him.
