refused care
My son was vaccine injured and as a result has neurological issues. I needed to see the doctor for a diagnosis, so I could get my son a scholarship for his disability. He refused to see him because he wasn't fully vaccinated. Oh the irony of that. A neurologist who should know full well that brain injuries occur after vaccination, should be the LAST PERSON to refuse care for someone who is brain injured. Talk about discrimination!

He knows his stuff.
This doctor as seen my son since he was in elementary school, he is now almost 21. Dr. Jacinto may sometimes have to tell parents things that are difficult to hear, but he is a highly intelligent man who really knows the brain and body. He thinks outside the box and wants to truly solve the problem or at least get to the bottom of what is happening. While there were not any forms of treatment needed, it was still nice to find out what was happening. It really gave my son and me great peace of mind. His staff if very professional, and his facilities are pretty impressive, state of the art. My son did a sleep study at their Tampa location and we were treated very hospitably. We are blessed to have such a brilliant pediatric neurologist right here in our backyard.

He is the absolute worst doctor in tampa. He doesn’t care about his patients. He treats people with zero respect and has no bedside manner. He is always bothered by medical questions because he thinks he knows it all. I would never recommend him to any parent who wants medical care for their child. Very rarely does he even see the patients….usually it’s only a nurse. It is a very poorly run office as well with staff who are always act bothered when you need help. Wish I could give zero stars!

So rude and unprofessional doctor!!! Waited in the lobby for 2 hours finally was able to see the doctor and once he found out my son was homeschooled advised he didn’t support homeschooling and couldn’t help with my sons ADHD because he’s not enrolled in public school. He then proceeded to discredit any of the vitamins he’s taking. He even yelled at his nurse in front of us both about not having a stethoscope in the room.

Staff is unprofessional and Rude. My daughters pediatrician sent a referral to that office for my daughter to be seen. I never received a phone call letting me know if they received the referral or anything. Finally called today and was told that they received the referral on 10/6 but they are not accepting new patients under that insurance. I asked the receptionist why didn't they call me or my daughters pediatrician to inform one of us, she got rude and stated that it is the patients responsibility to call to make the appointment. How am I supposed to call and make an appointment if I don't even know for one that you got the referral and for 2 know that you're not accepting new patients under insurance after I called one time and was informed that you accepted her insurance but never said that you weren't taking new patients. Maybe its a good thing that her insurance is not accepted there because front stuff is rude as hell.

I completely respect a Doctor that wants to spend as much time as needed to attend to his patient’s needs vs a quick diagnosis. However…A Doctor should not raise their voice and yell “if they don’t want to wait, they can leave” especially around children. The only person that gets hurt in this situation is the child. It questions his true character and how he views his patient and the care he performs. Regardless how intellectual the gentleman is, it is certainly a negative mark on the practice.

Dr Jacinto is God sent. My 4 year old son had his first seizure and it was super scary. Dr Jacinto made sure that we were able to see him the very next day wven though i was having issues with the insurance. He is very knowledgeable and down to earth. Im forever grateful to him.

This is the worst doctor's office. Please don't go there!!! First of all we had to wait a long time in the first appointment - they don't honor appointment times. Then our daughter needed a testing and they only conduct it once a month, we got cancelled twice, the first time on the same day of the test and the second time they didn't even called - I called them in the morning and then they notify me. These are the most irresponsible people that you will find.

After taking my now one year old son several times, Dr. Jacinto only saw him his this visit because I kept asking the Nurse Practitioner questions she couldn't answer. Their computers were down, so they couldn't make comparisons to see if he progressed or write scripts for labs. Apparently, I asked too many questions because he stormed in and loudly started yelling if I wanted my son to have surgery with the he door wide open! He went on to make inappropriate comments about my own head size!

He and his staff are all amazing, intelligent, intuitive care providers. He isn't soft and fuzzy but he is the most intelligent, intuitive doctor we have ever seen on a regular basis. His diagnosis is 100% on time. His intelligence in his field far surpasses any lack of bedside manner. He saved my daughter's life. They don't get any better than him or his staff.

I will have to say that if you can stay away from this doctor and his staff PLEASE PLEASE save your self a headache and stay away. The Doctor as well as the staff are extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful with the patients. They don't seem to care that you are there with small children and make you wait over and hour or two to see the doctor. It is by far the worse experience. I am in the medical field and this place makes doctors and medicine look super terrible. My son is traumatize

DR JACINTO IS THE ONLY DOCTOR THAT HELPED MY DAUGHTER FIND AND TREAT HER PROBLEM AFTER A YEAR AND A HALF. VERRY STRAIGHT UP AND TO THE POINT HE CAME INTO THE OFFICE WHILE HE WAS ON VACATION JUST TO CHECK ON TWO PATIENTS ONE BEING MY DAUGHTER. HE WAS VERY DIRECT WHICH MAY BE INTIMIDATING TO SOME POEPLE BUT WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT YOUR CHILDS HEALTH DIRECT AND TO THE POINT MAKES A GIANT DIFFERENCE.

Disgusted with service and will never go back. Only seen doctor one time which was the first visit. After that we only saw NPR which slowly increased his meds or did nothing at all. The meds did not make any improvements with his schoolwork and he was under the line (neuro test graph) but still gave him diagnosis of ADHD & put him on meds right away. Was told by staff that he reviews the visit (file). Which I also turned in to my insurance company.

Horrible excuse for a physician! Called his office for clarification after being told the diagnosis he gave my son 4 years ago was no longer valid. He refused to answer my questions. Insisted via his staff I wait two months until our next paid visit to ask those questions. l am disguisted by his behavior. How can you diagnosis a child with a condition that alters his entire school life and then suddenly say you dont believe in your own diagnosis and offer no explaination for this sudden miracle

Didn't respond to repeated requests for medical records. Refused to provide accommodation recommendations for school. Took over 6 months after the sleep, genetic and blood test results were back to give her a diagnosis. Repeatedly stated how my daughter hasn't had and will never have a normal life without stimulants, even after I mentioned how my daughter has been in gifted and next grade level classes. I expressed concern about starting her on stimulants at a young age. No alternative offered.

From the moment I arrived at the office, the staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Jacinto was wonderful! My son had been sick for several months and Dr. Jacinto went into overdrive to help us figure out what was going on with him. He was very upfront with what he saw with my son and got clarification on his diagnosis. People always make sure to quickly jump to writing the bad stuff, and I need to make sure this gets out there that he was absolutely professional and wonderful with my son.

Spent less than five minutes diagnosing me because of an EEG abnormality that turned out to be nothing. He then put me on a drug that caused psychotic reactions, because there was only one other that caused a bad rash, when there are really over 30 to choose from. Staff wouldn't reply for days on end when my family called about their concerns regarding side effects. He's very dismissive & rude, & his office is a mill w/ terrible staff. He doesn't really care about fixing people and it shows.
