It's unfortunate that some people had such negative appointments with Dr. Mejia. I have been seeing him for about a year at this time, and he has worked diligently to find the best medications for my problem. It took him a while to come to the right mixture of medications, but he continued working until he got there. I find him personable and caring.

I don't even want to give 1 star! He took her off her meds cold turkey 'cos she wouldn't attend group & be REQUIRED to openly discuss a very traumatic experience. He refused to continue seeing her or prescribing meds. Meds that he'd apparently thought she needed or he wouldn't have prescribed in the 1st place. This, imo, is unconscionable & malpractice! Strange thing is, I see someone at the same facility & am not required to see anyone except my med's doc. He should not have a license imo!!

Dr. Mejia truly collaborates with me, giving me the information and option to choose best med for me. He listens and is conscientious about ensuring meds refilled in a timely fashion.

Stay away from this doctor at all costs. He is so uncaring and basically told me we were "out of options" when I told him the antidepressant I was on after months was not helping. You don't tell a patient who is suicidal they are out of options. Also they don't care if patient runs out of meds cold turkey and almost need to go to the hospital. Awful just awful. This man should have not a license to practice. He is a huge pill pusher and likes to prescribe high end meds that are too expensive

Dr. Mejia was great. I can tell he is very intelligent as he has truly meaningful conversations with his patients. He gave the freedom to choose my treatments and I have complete faith in him.
