Dr. Serina Deen, MD

Serina is a force of nature as far as doctors go. For three years, I had the pleasure of working with Serina for medication management, and, at times, psychotherapy. The only reason I stopped seeing her was because I moved out of state. She is the type of person who genuinely cares about her patients, going above and beyond to make sure that the doctor/patient relationship is a collaborative one where you have agency in making decisions for yourself about your mental health. She is clearly an expert in her field, and yet never once did I feel condescended to because she is not only an extremely intellectual individual, she is also highly emotionally intelligent. She's honestly the standard of what health practitioners should aspire be. I always felt like she regarded me with a level of professional care that has yet to be matched by any other doctor I've seen in any other field of medicine, and I can't recommend her highly enough.
