Dr Finklestein is a gifted and talented surgeon. He listens to your concerns, provides details before and after surgery. Dedicates time and c reaches out during recovery. He's no nonsense exceptional doctor. I'm grateful to have such a exceptional skilled doctor on my side. I would recommend him to any person who's searching for a honest compassionate well trained doctor. Many blessings.

Dr Finkelstein is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable; he also takes the time to solve your issues and takes care of you from beginning to end. I had fibroids, so many that I could not bear children unless they were removed. Other doctors avoided me, told me that it’s not wise to remove them, or told me that I should keep them in and take the risk. When I met Finkelstein, he was super straight forward and said “yes! Ofcourse we can remove them! Let’s go!” He jumped at it! I couldn’t believe I was actually going to be able to finally get rid of my fibroids. After the procedure he made sure he was easy to reach! I never had to go through a whole bunch of loopholes to get in contact with him. He was accessible, he called you on your cell and answered all questions by giving your three possibilities and using process of elimination to rule out the other two options. When he was on vacation and I needed assistance he made sure I was ok!

I was in a very bad condition when the bleeding was non stop for 6 months and fibroid was a huge size. I was trying all possible ways to avoid surgery . Nothing really worked. I found dr Finkelstein using Google search. He was recommended as a very experienced surgeon with no incisions Surgeries. I schedule the appointment, doctor made all necessary tests and suggested hysterectomy with no incisions. I agreed. The surgery went very good, next day with absolutely no pain I come back home from

He told me forceps delivery causes permanent and irreversible pelvic floor damage for which there is no treatment so I am beyond help. He said he knows this because he does forceps himself. I am curious why does he use forceps instead of doing C-section to spare his patients the consequences. Had to pay $400 since he does not accept my insurance. Overall useless.

I have to share how great my experience has been with Dr. Seth Finkelstein. Being in a new city, it is almost impossible to know which doctors are good and which doctors are not, and I can confidently say I made the right choice with Dr. Finkelstein. He is extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable and that he genuinely cares for my health and wellbeing and I felt safe and taken care of. A horrible doctor with a worse bedside manner. The staff was awful. He was rude to me.

The doctor is fine, he answers all of my questions. The staff however are not very good at all.

Dr. Finkelstein is a very competent doctor. Unfortunately he lacks a good bedside manner and has a condescending tone when speaking with patients. Any question I asked was met with an exasperated sigh as if I was wasting his time. I left the practice because there are many good ob-gyn doctors who also treat their patients with respect in NYC.
