Dr. Seth Hoffman, MD

I was going to just let the rotten fruit fall by itself..,, But after reading the reviews, I realized I’m not the only one that suffered at the hands of Seth..It blew my mind that,, I could be in that much pain and a So called,, Dr has no compassion .. Not only did he not have compassion, he tried to trick me up on what I was telling him. Which resulted in him ordering at ultrasound on the wrong side, Way to go Seth.. He is not a doctor. He’s a quack his office, People we’re nice enough, but I’m sure they put up with him. I could go on and on because It’s a month later and I’m still in pain because none of his test worked. He gave me nothing nothing No medical advice .. I hope this helps someone else out there. I wish I would of read the reviews first..

The office staff were quick , efficient and as friendly as Dr. Hoffman. I had already seen the nurse practitioner and was impressed with her knowledge. Dr. Hoffman clarified some things for me about the use of Metamucil for my GI issues and his advice was very helpful.

He is a fantastic physician. Takes his time to gather facts and never acts rushed.

From consult to procedure, everything was explained in detail, questions answered and what to expect next explained. Dr. Hoffman was patient, listened to my concerns and was empathetic. An excellent experience all around. I have already referred other family members (family history of colon cancer).

Just have a first visit. I hope to find out more.

My procedure was done professionally, timely and everything went smooth. All the staff was friendly.

Recently had a procedure at Ohio Gastro performed by Dr. Hoffman. Everyone on the staff took great care of me, I was in and out in about two hours. Would highly recommend Dr. Hoffman.

My contact with Dr Hoffman was minimal but the nursing staff was fantastic. They explained each step before performing it so my anxiety was as low as it could be.

He was very good made me feel like i was in Good Hands

I recently had a procedure with Dr. Hoffman. Everyone on the staff, from the receptionist to the nurses were professional, caring, knowledgeable, and supportive. Dr. Hoffman explained everything before and after the procedure. He answered all my questions, and did not rush me. I would recommend Ohio Gastro and Dr. Hoffman to any of my friends.

Dr. Hoffman might be fine if you have a simple gastrointestinal problem. I'm sure he's fine if you just need a colonoscopy, but I would urge you to steer clear if you have Crohn's, UC, etc... He seems to follow a script of treatment for these diseases and if doesn't help you so be it...NEXT! He got uncomfortably argumentative during our last appointment when we asked for more help as my child was in constant pain and couldn't get out of bed some days! He just repeated his rote list of prescriptions (of which we had tried with no success) and basically said, well if it doesn't help him...guess you need to go somewhere else. We chose him because of his stellar ratings regarding Crohn's but sure don't see why he received these accolades. So glad we moved on to a more caring doctor, that gave us more options to combat this awful disease.

I have a number of digestive issues, and he always spends as much time with me as needed to discuss the issues. He is a great listener and sincerely has my best interest in mind.

I wish I had read the bad reviews before I went to see him. Dr. Seth Hoffman is probably only caring to his friends. He barely gave me a new patient exam, almost no eye contact, sent me for a test without telling me that going off Nexium all at once would make me horribly, terribly sick. I should have tapered off but he did not know or did not care to mention that. His office could not get the paperwork right and I had to keep calling. When I needed anti-nausea medicine to offset the dreadful nausea they said they would fill it but the did NOT. Two days later the nurse called to say Dr. Hoffman did not feel my symptoms warranted seeing me, but I could come back in 4 months. However, IF I had problems, I could go to the emergency room. Wow, how cold that is! They never told me the results of my test so I had to find them myself on Labcorp. Shame on you Dr. Hoffman.

Dr. Hoffman and his staff were extremely efficient. He was very professional with the same level of compassion.

During my visit Dr. Hoffman and his team were very professional, attentive, explained very clear the results of the procedure and answered all my questions. Thank you, Dr. Hoffman.

Dr. Hoffman is friendly and has a sense of humor. He also explains problems well. I would recommend him anytime.

Need to hire a new person taking patients calls, she could care less if you get the help request’d. Four working days to get an FDA drug script sent in and still no resolve, only doctor is on vacation this week (“Not sure when we can get back to you!”) Initial medication not approved by insurance due to not FDA approved. Good luck if you choose this office.

Dr. Hoffman correctly diagnosed and treated my mom for an ongoing problem. 3 other medical people had not been able to help her. In addition, he was patient and attentive to her story.

Excellent physician specialist & support mechanisms. Perfect follow ups (text & letter w. results.)
