Dr. Seth Jaffe, DO

I am reading these reviews and it does seem to be the Dr Seth Jaffe who took care of my knees from 2002 to 2004. I was only in my 30's and went to him after multiple surgeries on both knees that were failures. I was in severe pain and looking at years of mobility issues. He took one look at my X-Rays and recommended total knee replacements. I had my left knee done first with great results and went back the next year for my right knee which was also a great success. He also did a Carpal Tunnel Release on my right hand. I will forever be grateful that I had him for my Orthopedic Dr. The only reason I was reading these reviews is because I wanted to know if he was still practicing. I am having some pain and stiffness in my right knee again but it's been 18 years and these replacements only last 15 or so years. I definitely want him to do my new surgeries when I need them.

Horrible! This man is an “expert witness” for insurance companies. He discharged me from his practice for standing up for myself. He didn’t even examine me, he made observations and did not like the tone of my voice. I felt berated and insulted. He should NOT be practicing in the medial field and I will be filing a complaint with the medical licensing board here in South Carolina. He even lied to my adjuster… I’m appalled. He talked to me like I was a child and I simply was not having that! This man cannot help you manage your pain… he is one!

I see Dr. Jaffe for a minute and I never had a problem with him. Every time I see him he was always nice to me. The staff are so nice and I don't have no problems with nobody because I have respect for them just like they have for me. Team Dr. Jaffe ????

Terrible bedside manner! Talks "down" to you when questions are asked. Acts as though you are bothering him by having to read your MRI or other reports as ordered by other doctors. It seems like he wants to dismiss you! Beware! Don't waste your time!

This doctor is rude, not empathetic, doesn't listen, and because I am overweight, treated me like crap. I felt talked down to and dismissed. Please, keep looking. There are MUCH better ortho docs out there.

I went for a problem with my knee. He never touched my leg once. I was also in a lot of pain and he lied and said it was against the law to give me any narcotics unless I had surgery. Then because I pointed out that lie he gave me NSAIDS that would not work for a week. The medication was so uncommon it was not even in stock.

I’ve been astounded time and again at this man rudeness. He honestly does not care that I have pain and severe swelling in my limb. He continually tries to push me off on other doctors and when I see those doctors, they send me right back. He talks down to me and shows no empathy toward my situation. There are too many ortho doctors out there to subject yourself to this one.

Dr. Jaffe is the most arrogant doctor I have ever met. In addition to bad mouthing and contradicting all of my previous doctors he really did not even listen to me as I explained my multiple fracture ordeal. I would recommend to anyone, try another doctor first, no doctor in the whole state of North Carolina could be worse than this know it all.

RUDEST DOCTOR EVER, ACTS LIKE HE HATES HIS JOB AND PATIENTS.WAKE UP SIR, WE PAY YOUR BILLS.I SUGGEST THERAPY FOR HIM HE MUST HAVE A SELF-ESTEEM ISSUE OTHERWISE HE WOULD ACT DIFFERENTLY.DO NOT EVER CALL HIM WHEN HE IS ONCALL NO HELP YOU CANT EVEN HEAR HIM SPEAK.DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I can't even rate him he butchered my knees in 2005 and even did a prosthesis on my left knee that I did not need.....Wouldn't take my cat to him ......never go to him..
