Unprofessional
One of the worst experiences. Seems like an irresponsible doctor. A genuine opinion is when you have to rely on a doctor to treat your injury this is the kind of doctors you do not want to trust your body with. Wasted weeks and months to even find out what is happening with the injury. Just a waste of time to work with.

I think Dr. Sherman is a quite competent surgeon, but personal interactions are often left to medical assistants are are very impersonal. He seemed too busy to even look at my chart prior to a follow up appointment and mistook me for a different patient. (All non-star athletes are second class patients). I canceled upcoming follow ups as I could see nothing to be gained from the time and cost. He recommended a compression sleeve for my knee which was not covered by insurance AND possibly benefited him financially.

I found him to be a great doctor. We set a plan and are following it without failing. The surgeries as well as appointments have been in a timely manner with a complete explanation.

I went to Dr Sherman for a lateral meniscus repair. After talking to other surgeons who were focused on removing the meniscus. Dr Sherman was the first surgeon who focused on leaving as much meniscus as possible, and who was focused on making sure I would have as successful of a return to sport as possible. As an active athlete -- skier, runner, climber, alpinist -- my priority was to get back to my outdoor activities. I'm happy to report that a year after my meniscus repair I summitted Denali and ran an ultra-marathon, and have absolutely zero knee pain or problems. I'd highly recommend Dr Sherman for meniscus repairs and am extremely glad I found him!

not so great, knee surgery 11/2019 and after 10 months I have more pain. He is not taking care of the patient, not answering questions, and send me directly to another doctor. Lack of follow up, lack of responsibility and I still don't know what wrong with my knee. don't go

As a Soldier recovery from injury, Dr. Sherman conducted a high-tibial osteotomy on me. At first, he was very congenial, but post-operation, he was perturbed to explain anything. I was told the I WOULD take medication and physical therapy equipment without properly explaining it to me. I was released by the nurses without meds or any clear guidance. Even in the follow-ups he was late and too hurried to talk. This guy has a God complex. Unprofessional for wounded warriors!

Terrible....my knee has been 10X worse after he operated on it. He did not listen to my concerns and never spent much time with me. I never should have gone to him...

I went to this clinic a year before & met a different doctor. He stated I could only take steroid shots since I already had knee surgery 11 years ago. So I did & it was horrible. A few months ago, my boss sent me to his specialist who sent me to Dr Sherman. He immediately had tests done & I've just completed surgery which I think will be 100% successful because of everything Dr Sherman did for me.

It seemed that since I didn't need surgery & am not an 'elite' athlete, Dr. Sherman was a bit disengaged w/me. At an appt. where I expected to be cleared to stop wearing a boot for my broken ankle, he told me that it wasn't healing as expected & it would be longer than expected until I could run again. I got emotional about this in front of his nurse, she shared it with him and as I was leaving, I heard him joking about me to his medical students when he thought I couldn't hear. UNPROFESSIONAL.

He was very kind at first but when the surgery he performed was not successful, he treated me as if I was the problem and he made me feel stupid and horrible about myself. His bedside manner is awful! He never wanted to take any time to answer any of my questions. Like his time was much too valuable to be wasted on me. His ego needs to be put in check before someone gets hurt by this man.

He's very knowledgeable, and actually takes the time to explain things to you. He doesn't rush into surgery, but after I had it, it was nearly as good as new.
