I was in the ER for a miscarriage and was seen by one doctor in particular. We had wrapped up, I had declined further treatment and was waiting to be discharged. Then, Dr. Strote came in, he was not the doctor I had seen over the course of my time in the ER. He asked me several questions and I declined further treatment. When Dr. Strote left the room, my husband and I looked at one another and said "That guy's going to try to bill us for that." Several weeks later, indeed, I received a bill for our 2 minute conversation, which I had not requested, and from which I received no treatment. Totally unethical exploitation of the situation. Shame on you Seth Strote.
